Way more options than just Madness Ore and Amber. I assume we'll be able to make weapons and armor from them. Perhaps trinkets and rings, too?

I wonder if we can combine ores, too, to make interesting alloys with greater effects than a single ore.

That or we get a bunch more nuggets. Because those were exceptionally useful in Oblivion. "Look at my solid gold paper weight!"

Fallout 3 had 40.000 lines. So no, it had less than Oblivion.

I remember the developers saying Fallout 3 had more lines of dialogue. I could be wrong though.

Are you the same guy thats been talking about going to his friends house all day to get the magazine?

Do you live in the outback?

Not exactly in the outback, but its a good 30 to 45 minute drive, and we both go to college so our schedules are out of sync.
Also If I try to get to his house when I'm not busy, It's usually rush hour and the 30/45 min drive turns into a whole adventure.
Weekend is coming soon, so if there's no scans until then, I'll see what I can do :).

Oblivion had 60k lines as well, so no change there. But in keep in mind that with Radiant Story in Skyrim, this includes many identical lines of dialogue that only differ in a few words (like the name of a dungeon or NPC).
I am afraid this might lead to even less quests than in Oblivion.

I'm also a bit concerned about this. I am hoping at least that they mean "Unique" lines, so excluding lines repeated by different actors. Because they said they put in more voice actors now because they had more space to do so (which means more lines recorded).

60000 lines of voiced dialogue have been mentioned. For the sake of comparison, could someone tell me how many lines of voiced and non-voiced dialogue Morrowind had?

I'm looking forward, also, to learn how many lines there'll be in books. I am a quite lore-thirsty guy...

No Oblivion actually had around 90 to 98 side quest, Skyrim will have 100+ so maby 114 or somthing and 35% of those side quest have in depth stories while 75% are your short typical side quests

Wait, no hand to hand? That svcks! I mean, I myself didn't use it much, but I can imagine others would, and they could've tried to improve it instead of removing it.*sigh*

Thanks for the info

I thought they would have the College of whispers and the synod as the mage factions or the College of winterhold linked to one of those?

acrobatics and athletics have been removed, yet you can still run and jump.

So you will still be able to punch.

I don't think people are concerned about not being able to punch. The concern stems from a fighting style and essentially a character design being removed; that is, the monk sort. I am sure you'll be able to punch or do a barefisted attack, but there is no doubt that there will be no way in training any sort of non-weapon combat.

This is probably the only annoyance I have had so far, and I am sure the rest of the game will make up for it, but I am willing to sympathize with those who mourn this loss.

Thanks for the info OP :)

Crafting:
13 different types of ore

Woot! This has made my day..brings back memories of all the hundreds of hours I did smithing in UO, now we can use a load of different ore for smithing in Skyrim, in between Dragon slaying :celebration:

Disappointed about H2H being removed though.

It's still there. Just not a separate skill.

Oh, that's good then. I couldn't imagine what would happen if I went into a fight without a weapon if I couldn't swing my fists. Hopefully there will be a perk or two dedicated to hand-to-hand fighting.

I must say, I am dissapoint in you guys...... I mean, it says right there in the list: Morrowind AND Oblivion style fast travel, and NOONE MADE BIG DEAL ABOUT IT YET? Where are all the baaaaaawing people that created countless topics about this subject at now? Seriously......

On the other note, this sounds promissing.
