Thanks. Morrowind was my standard. NOW I am really overjoyed with the announced numbers. :celebration: :celebration: :celebration:

I'm not a Morrowind Lover/Oblivion Hater. I just know that there is an awful lot more quests in Morrowind and that each NPC seems to have much more to say (though granted much of the generic stuff is repeated).

Exactly. A LOT of the lines in Morrowind are just repeated. Granted, its the same in Oblivion, but most of Morrowind's long paragraphs come from repeated information, so you can really only count that once.

Yes, but I was mainly reffering to the large number of quests.

Oh, I see. Thanks!

So I wonder if there's any numbers based on how many words the other games have rather than "lines" for a good comparison.

I don't really think there were really that many more quests in Morrowind compared to Oblivion, but I could be wrong.

I think one sentence equals one line?

Or it is like this:
LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE ONE LINE
LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO LINE TWO

Which means multiple sentences on each line. I don't know how it works.

Here is the quest page on UESP. It doesn't have a full list like Oblivion, but you can click on the various sections to see it. If I recall, there's about 200 in Oblivion. Must be double in Morrowind. The questlines for guilds and such seem to generally be longer. Also, they have more miscellaneus quests around towns and wilderness.

I'm assuming they'll either lock you in place, your if you walk away when they're trying to pursuit you it'll count as resisting arrest.

Stop right there, criminal scum!

Hey, come back here, criminal scum, don't walk away when I'm talking to you!

Would that be considered casually avoiding arrest?
