Perhaps every one of my recent posts in the Skyrim section are, but that's all I need to know, at this point. I don't care about specifics for game mechanics, anymore, as I have a good idea of how the game is and I know that I want it. I want to know, now, how it will actually function (arguably the most objectively important thing to know... whether it actually functions well or not... no one likes an ill-functioning product... or so I thought before people started trying to excuse Bethesda's past failures to provide a well-functioning product) for me following that horrid excuse of a product Bethesda labeled the PS3 version of Fallout 3... a point that people conveniently, and repeatedly, ignore. It was bad and I don't think it's unreasonable to want to get something on the PS3 version... a video, a confirmed screenshot, a preview from someone who actually played it instead of the 360 version as everyone else seemingly has. I don't know where you get off telling me what I can and cannot want or say, but as someone who clearly has no experience with what I'm talking about, please don't criticize concern over a factual issue that you have little knowledge about.

If you don't like what I post, ignore it, but it's a problem. I'm asking for one something shown to be for the PS3 version... a preview from someone playing the PS3 version or some demoing of the PS3 version. I don't care about what you, personally, think of my concerns because they are valid and I have every right to post them. Yeah, not everyone is going to "complain" (It's more along the lines of criticizing blatantly false excuses and avoidance as well as past history, but whatever you want to reduce it to to discredit me is your prerogative.), but not everyone is everyone else... so what? This is a thread about Skyrim's upcoming screenshots and previews. It is perfectly within the context of the thread for me to question if either will pertain to the game I'll actually be playing, or not. If you're content with bending to the pathetic multiplatform support Bethesda has shown (or rather not shown), good for you. I'm not and in the off-chance someone who can give me an answer or who can be affected by my posts comes across my posts, I'd very much like that person to know I'm looking for the information.

I'm not sure in what tone you're posting that, but essentially, yes.

PS3 version will not be shown. I'm convinced of that. They haven't willingly showed it in 10 months since the announcement and it wasn't playable at a single convention. Skyrim launches in 25 days. I just don't see it happening. There's just a little over 3 weeks to go.

What do you want to see if they did release some screenshots/footage? No combat again I assume?

Anything... something... I want a confirmed PS3 screenshot of anything discernible (not that "we're showing them from all platforms... we just won't tell you to what ratio or which are which so for all you know, that one really poor-looking one could be the only PS3 screenshot" uselessness), footage of anything discernible (although footage, specifically, of the outside world to see how the PS3 version handles such a massive task would be preferable), and/or a preview with an unbiased journalist telling me how the PS3 version runs... just something. Anyway, now I'm probably just dragging the discussion off-topic, so that's enough of what I want.

If you're so unsure of the PS3 version just go with PC.
Skyrim is not very system intensive.

I'm getting it for the 360, but I feel you are entirely justified in your question and in your concerns. Stability on the PC does not equal stability on the PS3. Stability on the 360 does not equal stability on the PS3.

You're right to be concerned. Not that I truly worry for the overall state of the game. I think it's just a bit of favoritism being shown to the 360, most likely a handshake agreement. "Okay, for fifty million you get exclusive DLC for 30 days...and yeah..we'll hype your console by only showing previews on the 360 version whenever possible."

I hope that you realise that the Ps3 version will be practically identical to the 360? In-fact there was a tweet from Pete that he didn't actually know Todd was playing the Ps3 version till he raised the Ps3 controller, I can find you the tweet, but rummaging around trying to find it is going to take ages; I just don't understand why you think the Ps3 version is going to be any different? In-fact I also believe that Pete has said before in a tweet that they have never actually classified what screen-shots are of which platform, only the video footage is from 360, as far as I'm concerned is that we have seen the Ps3 version time and time again but we have never noticed as they are all similar.

Also seeing the feedback from Fallout 3's port I can likely say they won't have it happen again, they can't afford to, if it makes every Playstation owner so badly hurt about it, as it shows so greatly in your posts, they will loose all the Playstation Fan-base... They won't risk it again... Also they have stated many times before that it will run the same way on both consoles, and they will have more testing and fixing now because of the extension of their team; so I highly doubt there will be a repeat of Fallout 3's somewhat messy port.

I think that the ps3 version of skyrim could have a large bug or glitch they have yet to fix or are not bothering to fix it at all but i also hope they do show some footage or screenshot of the ps3 version and the PC version

hey I wouldnt worry too much if Skyrim svcks there is uncharted 3.....Trust me it will be better than Skyrim.. uncharted 2 was a way better game than Oblivion... story was better gameplay was better and graphics are amazing.......so dont be to upset....

Proof is in the pudding...Metacritic Oblivion /53 reviewers 94%........ Uncharted 2 105/reviewers 96% If Oblivion would of had 105 reviewers they would have had a score in the high 80's ...... maybe even mid 80's?
