ok.....So I have done the black books to the point where Mora wants the Skaal secret and I have spoken to Boer the wood cutter about the missing blacksmith. I head off to the abandoned lodge and as I approach I see the Thalmore guys. They attack and all goes well until I go to loot the bodies and get the key and map. I can not loot them. They will not highlight or anything. So I cant unlock the door and rescue they blacksmith.Any body else have this issue? I checked the wiki and no bug like this there. And I cant see where there is a console command to give me the key. HELP!!! please!

For this kind of thing, best bet is to reload a last save.

Sorry... really didn't think I was giving any spoilers. But still...how can I get around this? I have tried reloads to no avail. It still wont work. Can CCNA provide an answer along with his critique? Or was that his only input? Perhaps being a bit more helpful along with your criticism would make you look less arrogant and prolong your usefulness as a moderator.

Moderators are not required to know the answer to every question pertaining to Bethesda games. They're not required to play these games in the first place. Their job is to keep order on this forum, a part of which is informing users about rules and regulations, including those about spoilers. You weren't critiqued, you were informed.

On topic: can you interact with other objects? Sometimes the game gets bugged and all interactions become impossible.
Try using the resurrect command on your character. It sometimes helps, but keep in mind that all your active effects will disappear and you'll have to add them again (reequip enchanted apparel etc.)
You can also try adding the key to your inventory:
player.additem xx027e00 1
where xx is the place of Dragonborn in your load order.
