Well, it ain't technically a 'Vault' Rp, more of people newly adjusting to the fresh wastes.

I call it the, 'Post-Vault RP'.

Not quite Post-War. But after the nukes fall.

The official name, just so you folks know, is 'The Warren'. Just because that's really the basis of what the story is laid around, the old movie theater that sheltered the unfamiliar wasters/refugees.

Had a feeling it would named after the movie theater. :P

But, will the town also be called The Warren? Because that works too....

EDIT: Were we just spammed? Odd. Won't bother me unless President Eden also starts spamming our RP. :stare:

Gah! The obvious!

Well if there is one scenario I would like to see in "The Warren", it would be night ghoul invasion. A giant enslaught of crazed ghouls, who happen to strike at night. Also, there would be a crows nest built, as a lookout post. It would also be a great spot to snipe raiders from a distance to scare them off.

Or in order to find higher leveled items like Power Armor and Energy Weapons, you would have to go on a mini quest.

Serious question though, can we post in First Person? I feel that this is the kind of Rp that First person would work well.

I guess it's your choice. I might try it, as I have been compelled to do it because of Francois.... :stare:

Unless, Jonas/Yttrium don't approve of it. But then again, we aren't harsh.

I remember a roleplay like this... Enclave Radio made it. Sadly, I think a case of Mary Sue came over my character, and that lead to the end of the roleplay. That or it just died

Mwahaha, my ways have been passed onto the other mortals on this Board! *Rubs hands in delight* I was the only one doing first person for so long... <_<

In all seriousness, I would love to join if you'd have me; if you don't want to have me then I'll live. ;)

I have been lurking since last year, I am extremely interested in this. For three reasons.

1.) 9 pages of planning, Collaborative works usually work alot better than single ones.
2.) You are actually trying to make your RP better, rather than sitting back and hope the paper boat floats.
3.) A lot of good RPers have put their names foreward. I think this is going to be good.

My suggestion, dont think too big. Strangelove, before he went AWOL had a way of writing RPs, the reason why they mostly worked is simple. Goals, set out a few short goals dotted throughout the RP, and always have the final goal looming. Dont look too far into the distance, or you shall miss the cliff two steps infront of you.

I would like to put my name down for this, hopefully, this will be my Glorious Return to the world of Fallout RPing,

I know what our theme song should be thanks to Silly Cat.

We might have to change the words around but the music itself is good.

Also when it comes to weapons and power Armour I don't know where we could find any except for hunting rifles and pistols. We would have to go explore and find like a military base or a small town with a gun store.

Also I don't think ghouls will start to pop up till at least a few months after the bombs fell just because of how it takes time for them to have their skin peel off then lose their minds.

Indeed. Guess we will just have to see how the sign up goes, eh?
Good to see we are bringing back the Fallout RP from the dead. It seemed the amount of RPs, the length and quality was taking a nosedive in a few months.

It'll a lot more to get this part of the forum out of its slump. We'll make a group! "The Fallout FF/RP Reclamation Committee"

I need to read on all nine pages so that I'm fully updated-but I've played (almost) all of Fallout 3, and have otherwise studied up on the games. ;) Still doing so, actually-and I might buy the other, actual games if I have the time for 'em later.

But yes, I'd love to join. :) If that's alright. If not, I understand. This wouldn't be my first RPG ever, but it WOULD be my first RPG on this site. So I'm not totally sure how I'd fare in it.

Or, we could fight to the death. Last six remaining get the spots.
