Hey guys, kinda new to the forums, so please bear with me.
So every single time I try starting up the G.E.C.K. for Fallout: New Vegas, it crashes, saying windows is trying to find an answer to the problem, but then nothing works, so I have to exit the G.E.C.K. I've Uninstalled and Reinstalled the program multiple times, nothing seems to be working. It is installed in the correct location, as that was the first problem I had, PLEASE HELP ME. I am also using the Steam version of the game, but it is installed in C:Games\Fallout New Vegas, and also C:Programs (x86) \Valve\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas.

Steam should be installed into the C:\Games\Steam folder or something similar. I'd move your SteamApps folder (which is where the files for New Vegas reside) somewhere else, uninstall Steam and delete the Valve\Steam folder and subfolders, reinstall Steam to C:\Games\Steam, start the client but don't log in. Move the SteamApps folder to the new Steam folder, start Steam again and sign in. After that, install the GECK to the new NV folder and run it as administrator. That should fix the crashes.

That's not likely the problem, I have Steam installed to the same section as him; it was the default directory.
Though I am also using a 32bit OS, and I don't think the OP is. So I could be wrong.

The Program Files folder of Windows 32-bit doesn't have that problem, Ronyn, but the 64-bit version does. And the Program Files (x86) folder is even worse about giving the proper permissions. It was designed for "legacy" applications, but Microsoft dropped the ball when they prevented just about anything in there from having the disc access it needs.
