New Vegas Explosives Build

This is kinda my new build for a new character,for now I will just post Specials and Perks,I will post more later.


Special:

Ok,before I post them,I must explain 3 things;
1-Charisma is a dump stat unless playing on hardcoe,which is NOT the case here
2-Perception IS a dump stat unless you want either Better Criticals or Sniper,it has been already proved that it does not increase Accuracy
3-Luck has no effect over any explosives but since my level cap is 50 I will end up investing in Guns,so I will leave it at 5

Strenght:7( +1 from Implant,+2 from reinforced Spine)
Perception:1
Endurance:9(+1 from implant)
Charisma:1
Intelligence:7(+1 from implant,no implant rush,we don't need many points)
Agility:9(+1 from Implant)
Luck:6(+1 from Implant,+1 from Special Training at Level 2,+1 from Lonesome Road)

And so we trade 2 worthless SPECIAL for more 8 Points,so we can make a pretty useful character,that later will be pretty much good at everything.

4-Educated,+2 Skill Points Each Level.
6-Comprehension,Skill Magazines give two times more Skill Points,Skill books give one more Skill Point.
8-Heave HO,+50% Accuracy and Range for throw items,it is also applied for Grenade Rifles.
10-Demolition Expert Rank 1,+20% Damage with Explosives.
12-Mad Bomber,extra recipes for explosives.
14-Hit the Deck,+25 DT against any Explosives.
16-Spash Damage,Explosives have 25% Larger area of effect.
18-Demolition Expert Rank 2
20-Demolition Expert Rank 3
22-Life Giver,+30 Hit Points(AKA Life)
24-Silent Running,Running does not affect Sneaking.
26-Heavyweight,All the weapons that weight 10 or more pounds have their weight cut in the half.
28-Adamantium Skeleton,Limb Damage Reduced by 50%
30-Commando,+25% Accuracy while using Two handed weapons in vats(Everything besides Grenades are two handed in explosives tier)
32-Bloody Mess,+5% Damage,Violent Death Animations.
34-Nerves Of Steel,Ap Regeneration is 20% Faster
36-Grim Reaper Spirit,Kills in vats recover 20 AP.
38-Action Boy Rank 1,+15 AP
40-Hand Loader,Twice as Likely to recover cassings and Hulls,ability to make Hand Load Rounds.
42-Center of Mass,+15% Damage when targeting the Enemy Torso in Vats.
44-Grunt,+25% Damage with Grount Related Weapons,we will highlight Frag Grenades and any type of Grenade Launchers here.
46-Action Boy Rank 2.
48-Math Wrath,Ap cost is reduced by 10%
50-Tought You Died,+10% Damage,+10 Hp from each 100 Karma Points;

Extra Perks:
Full Maintenance from Raul,Gear and Weapon Condition decays 75% Slower
Enhanced Sensors,from ED-E,Detect Enemies at very far Range
Big Brained,Head cannot be crippled,+10% DT
Reinforced Spine,+2 STR,+2 DT
Cardiac Arrest,+50% effect from healing items,more 50% poison resistance,robots have 50% lower Crit Chance.
Implant M-5,Speed while crouched is increased.
Lonesome Road,+10% Damage and Vats Hit chance while Alone.

Armor:

1-Gannon Family Tesla Armor-Probaly the Best Power Armor,oh and it is also considered Medium not Heavy,26 DT and bonus from Energy Weapons and Radiation Resistance?Yes Please!
2-Joshua Graham's Armor - For low levels,I tend to complete Lonesome Road Quite Early and 15 DT Light Armor is great at level 15 or so.


Headwear:

Atomic Valence Tri Radii Acelerator:+4 Dt and can be used with other helmets
Space Suit Helmet:+4 DT
Doctor Mobius Glasses:+1 DT +10 Explosives,+2 Int.

Final DT:

Base Armor DT:26
Base Helmet DT:9

Combined DT:35

DT with all Perks:40,65 Against Explosives.

Others:45% Poison Resistance,18 Natural Rad Resistance,38 with Armor.

Weapons:
1-MFC Greande(GRA)-Probaly the cheapest explosive,with our perks it will reach 160 Dam,and has a wider range than the frag grenade,since it just requires 3 Microfusion Cells to make one,and weights 0.5 pounds,we can pretty much always carry 20 or so.

2-Annabelle-Oh annabelle,such a beauty of weapon,this weapon with some GRA ammo packs quite a punch with all enemies,with 10 Agility the reloading speed becomes quite fast,so it is pretty much a weapon that can be used anywhere,actually it is my choice against DeathClaws.

3-Frag Grenade-There are hundreds of Frag Grenades Scattered all around the whole game,making it a standart choice of grenade,that will reach 255 Dam,and since we have the Splash Damage Perk,it can be used to easily kill humans and super mutants.

4-Dynamite - It is cheap,it is common,and we can get around 50 just in the first 2 hours,powder gangers often carry them,and I use them mostly to reverse PickPocket and get a free kill.

5-Fat Mine - The most powerful Holdout weapon,that I nicknamed Casino Destroyer,planting one around in the main area of the casino will probaly kill everyone,4 of these babies will help you to destroy all the casinos and kill Ceasar.

6-Mercy - Probaly one of the most awesome weapons for close and medium range,with splash damage and Plasma rounds,be ready for a potential Plasma nuking on wherever you use this.

7-Red Glare - OH THE ROCKETS!Probaly the only explosive that can be used at long range,it costs around 33000 caps to get all the modifications,but it IS worth it,it also has a low AP cost for explosives,and it has a sweet 13 Rounds capacity,and the ability to use Incendiary and High Explosive Rounds.

8-Red Victory Grenade Rifle - Weights almost nothing,has a high DPS and can use the versatile 40MM rounds,it is probaly the best Grenade Rifle in the whole game,the only bad thing is that the best doesn't come early,we need at least level 30 to get it(Lonesome Road is quite Hard with all the Deathclaws)

9-Satchel Charge - Best Mine in the whole game,ED-E will produce 3 per day,there are lots of them all around Lonesome Road,they have high Damage,and the fuse is shorter than normal mines,it is simply the best.

Hp at Level 50:

95 + (10 X 20) + (50 X 5) + 100 + 30

+100 From tought you died,+30 from Life Giver.


95 + (10 X 20) + (50 X 5) + 100 + 30

95 + 200 + 250 + 100 + 30

Final hp = 675

Sounds like you pretty much know what you want already, no stranger to plotting out builds. I'm sure you'll do great with it. Just... your initial SPECIALs list only added up to 39 pts... you get 40 during startup.

Thanks for pointing that up to me,I will fix it in 5 minutes,and I will add the list of Weapons.
