Now nv where I can make everyone love me with different characters is what fo should be. It made me think really hard when the NCR was waiting for days for their dead president to show up. I love stuff like that. Its all because of great writing and a well thought out dynamic ending.

Fo3 people just didn t want to be my friend. Its not an rpg unless I can force every NPC group to love me. The only real problem I had with nv is that I couldn t help the Vipers or Jackels.

I think I should have been able to force them to be friends, and made them take over nv. After I forced them to love me.

1. Well, COD is after all a masterpiece, it's easy to misinterpret other games for COD as COD is so addictive that no other game can match up to it.

2. Bah, I thought this was a war game with the "War... War never changes.." and all? Or is this some kinda game for treehuggers? We need more mutants, more cool weapons like the alien weapons from MZ and more targets to use them on, not a bunch of sissies that we can "befriend".

3. RPG's aren't about making people like you, they're about getting stronger and meeting tougher enemies and raid dungeons or instances. Khans and Powder Gangers should have been like Vipers or Jackals, I don't even understand "why" they let you help them.

Well Gabe, In an rpg you should be able choose for everyone what they are thinking. NPCs should never have a say in what they do, or if they love you or not. You should be able to make every desision for them all.

Now fo nv was a major step in the right direction, but there were still NPC groups I couldn t help or control, and alot of independent NPC people I couldn t control.

Take Mick and Ralph for instance. I should have been able to force them to supply the Kings, and I should have been able to force the Kings to take over Vegas. They could have won on the dam too with the help of my Uber God doing all the work.

There just should have been more possible faction ending scenarios. Then we d have more to speculate about for the next 4-15 years.

Much better than fo3 though. Where they put out a terrible dlc that pretty much told you what happened. It had bad voice acting by the way.

Rook, i don't know who you are acting like, none of the old fans act in such a brash manner, many of us really like fallout 3 and offer criticism, sometimes harsh, but usually well supported.

Er, I doubt anyone's "acting like a new fan", some of us genuinely are. And to be honest, Fallout 3 isn't all that new. It's a decent enough game and was at one point my favorite, but I can't pretend New Vegas doesn't improve upon it in nearly every way.

Actually I was supposed to be going out with my girlfriend and some of her friends to some bar... but she won't be driving by where I live to pick me up (I don't have a driver's license yet), the place we're going to is like a 40-50 minute drive away, and busses goes there so rarely and I don't know the town if I should try and find them I'd get lost and..... well, I'm crying you a river, I maybe won't be going out :C I'll just be going watching the bonfire by the lake with the little kids and have a hot dog, then go back home and play games..... I'm a very shy person so whenever I meet new people I'm very quiet.
Since my entire friend circle consists of future alcoholics they're probably going to want to go to a house party or a bar where I hardly know anyone.
