My favorite Location? It's a tie between the Lucky 38 Cocktail Lounge, and House Resorts/Camp Golf, lovely view, shame about the NCR stink though, but that can come off :spotted owl:

This.

I wish there was some ability to make it into a player house. I like the "hidden away fortified bunker" feel that it has to it (thats how the Enclave rolls with their bunkers though B) ).

I'm sure there is one, and even if not I'm sure there will be eventually.

Wouldn't take that much really, add a few beds, some storage and a way to access all parts of it after the quest is done and shazam! instant best housing in game.

I don't really have a favorite place. I did the main quest a couple of times but was not over keen on the strip, outside the MQ I rarely visit it - well apart from calling in Vault 21 for a bit of R&R. So favorite - anywhere but the strip - places I can wander with my sniper rifle and see what I can pick up - or should that be pick off?

I don't really have a favorite location in this game so I didn't vote.

It's mostly because the locations don't differ all that much from eachother. I mean, in Fallout 2 you had New Reno, Vault City, NCR, San Fran, those are all fundamentally different places from each other. The new "one big map" system doesn't really allow for too big of a difference to be made - but I guess that's not the purpose either. Maybe they should've put all the settlements into one piece separated as loadzones in a one big city (I mean, the scope changes with the perspective) and left the rest as a wasteland around it.

i gotta agree with colonel here, the cocktail lounge is so nice, creepy in the blankness but amazing, and camp golf- ncr made it a tip, need to get rid of them to make the place nice again (sandman perk away!)

My favorite is Novac, I like being part of their eclectic little group. Plus it's not a bad location, so if I need to, I can pop into other settlements.

I picked Camp Searchlight because I like the fact of Leigions radioactive assault turning troopes into feral ghouls, and Jacobstown for the snow... but overall my favorite is... http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mole_Rat_Ranch

I want to live in Vault 19. The Legion could make it into a prision. Peadophiles and rapists in the blue sector and General Oliver in the red.
