sorry that happened to you, it looks like your 360 overheated, probably due to the increased workload from the freezing game..

My Ps3 YLOD'd about 3 weeks ago, still haven't got it fixed..

It doesnt feel over heated, ive unplugged and repluged everything. Ive only gotten it to work like once every 20 tries now and it will freeze up in like 2 sec of starting. when i trun it on it makes a wierd sound to so my guess is that the game somehow messed something up inside because there was nohing near my xbox or anything when this happened and ive never had any problems with it ever. Im hoping it wont have to be sent in because i planned on getting the new fable as well and playing in my friends for a few days.

Sounds like your box has failed to the dreaded RROD, I've been there and it svcks.
I reckon you will have to send it in but I can assure you that its a straight forward deal, assuming your still under warranty and haven't modded your console in any way.

Im gona be way behind everyone now =/ but if it the only way i guess it will just have to be done. Still looking for any one else who has this problem but so far just me it seems so idk if gamesas even know of this problem.

Yeah, that sounds like the red ring of death to me. But don't worry about not being able to play for a month, and being behind everyone else. Most people can't play there's either because of the system glitch. Those that are saying it hasn't happened to them, haven't played long enough or hit the right part in the game code to be affected by it. So don't worry about being behind, pretty soon no one will be able to play it.... are you listening Bethesda/Obsidian?

i wouldn't normally advise this but since your gonna send it in i know a temporary fix i say temporary because this is without opening xbox and ive done it and the only way is to overheat it ok you have 3 out of 4 lights blinking stick cue tips in the fans to stop them from turning on and you will hear an a occasional click it may be loud that will be your fans trying to restart and turn on again dont its not gonna break lol but once you have stopped the fans let it sit and get hot once 3 lights turn too 2 turn it off pull out the cue tips and let it sit until cooled or you can just use a fan to make it faster by the way it will probably take about 10 to 20 minutes for the 3 lights to turn too 2 so be patient.so ya once cooled which could take 20 to 30 but with fan 5 to 10 and turn it on and it should work im sure you can be on for as long as you want but when you turn it off and back on it will probably have the ROD back so if you want to try it go ahead this is not how i do things since i know how to get inside and fix it but you cant open it and send it back so thats why im giving you this option and it should work since it worked for me everytime for like two months i only done this because my first xbox i had it was way past the warranty so ya it was useless so i tried everything but if anyone dosent have a warranty and they get ROD then i can help i figured out how to make them work on my own none of the vids i seen on youtube ever helped me but if you want to know how to open your xbox i suggest you look that up on youtube its really easy to break your case you do that and your left with an ugly xbox lol and the reason why it is temporary is because if you do the cheap fix for about a month all the overheating will eventually bend your motherboard slightly and cause your CPU or other chips to come out of place and once there out there out for good no fix for that so if you want to do this cheap fix only do it for like today or up to a week or just avoid it by sending it in now lol hope this may have helped..just remember this is a not how to fix your xbox lol just if you want a few more hours of gameplay thats all dont abuse it or it will abuse you haha

I might try that but I've had this xbox for years now so im not sure if its under warranty any more. How do you check it, because you seem to know a thing or 2 and could help me more if it isnt under warranty.

do you have a receipt it should say on that ? and did you buy the extended warranty? well as long as you have the receipt im pretty sure even if your warranty has expired you should be able to pay to extend it,and for one you need your warranty to send it in, if you dont and you send it in just for them to fix it it will cost more than what the item is even worth and think they will even charge you just to get it back if you dont pay for it.anyways make sure you have your receipt if not your a gonner man
