*The bugs are so obvious that anyone can see them after a couple hours of playing. Seems like they decided to do minimal PC testing and patch it later.
The only bug that's obvious is the quicksave one - all others are pretty hit-and-miss, so someone playing through the game might never experience it. The developers never noticed the quick save bug because, I'm guessing, they didn't test it with Steam's Cloud service like they damned well should have.
Other than that, yes, NV was made primarily for consoles with the PC release being a second thought. That svcks majorly, I agree, but that's what just about every game out there nowadays is doing because console released sell a hell of a lot more units than PC releases. I wish the Devs decided to make a PC-specific UI (and fix some of the problems with it that I've seen so far), but all-in-all the game is a major improvement on F3 in almost all areas. If you were expecting a different game, you weren't looking at any previews, advertisemants, or anything else, since it was all pretty clear from even just the back of the game box.
