New Vegas looks like it was made for Xbox for a quick profit

*The bugs are so obvious that anyone can see them after a couple hours of playing. Seems like they decided to do minimal PC testing and patch it later.

The only bug that's obvious is the quicksave one - all others are pretty hit-and-miss, so someone playing through the game might never experience it. The developers never noticed the quick save bug because, I'm guessing, they didn't test it with Steam's Cloud service like they damned well should have.

Other than that, yes, NV was made primarily for consoles with the PC release being a second thought. That svcks majorly, I agree, but that's what just about every game out there nowadays is doing because console released sell a hell of a lot more units than PC releases. I wish the Devs decided to make a PC-specific UI (and fix some of the problems with it that I've seen so far), but all-in-all the game is a major improvement on F3 in almost all areas. If you were expecting a different game, you weren't looking at any previews, advertisemants, or anything else, since it was all pretty clear from even just the back of the game box.

It's not all about you PC gamers anymore, and you're going to have to get used to it.

Yup probably true. It's all gonna be dumbed down for the pitifully weak consoles and their incredibly useless controllers.

I'll just keep playing Stalker. Well over 400 hours there and no boredom at all. Three games and mods ... oh yeah.

Obsidian are not Bethesda and it shows. Fallout 3 was the summer blockbuster film, and FNV is the TV spin off.

You're absolutely correct. More time has been spent developing a multi-layered story & character depth than could possibly be captured in a 90 minute summer blockbuster film.

he keyboard and the mouse was designed for data entry and wasn't intended for gaming

You do realise that the keyboard and mouse are way more accurate, faster and more viable than any console controller will ever be?

I have quoted just a few of the reasons this thread is being closed. There were too many post like these to even think about editing.

I have Fallout: New Vegas on PS3. In the 30+ hours I have already put into the game, I've only had 2 freezes. One of them I got stuck in a loading loop, the second one I was walking and the game froze. I had a radscorpion kind of get stuck in the environment early on. It kept appearing for a split second then disappearing, and was chasing me but I couldn't attack it and it couldn't attack me. That is all I have had happen so far. Runs just great on my slim PS3. I think a lot of people like to come on forums and exaggerate their problems, and hear themselves whine.

People generally do not enjoy whining. They do however want their complaints to be taken seriously and they want to be heard when they have problems. Especially when something does not work as it should. That is why folks bring their complaints to this forum...in hopes they will be heard and that is why we have a pinned thread written by Mr. Bergman to reassure us we are being heard and that they are working hard to isolate problems and to address them with patches.

It's not all about you PC gamers anymore, and you're going to have to get used to it.

Please don't retort with such as this. It does not but invite more flames and flamebait. Poke for a poke over what console/platforms one plays on is just silly and adds fuel to the fire. If you see someone dissing consoles, report them. I assure we warn often for just that, just as we warn for flaming the flamer.

Yup probably true. It's all gonna be dumbed down for the pitifully weak consoles and their incredibly useless controllers.

Stop. If you personally believe something is being dumbed down, fine but leave it at the door because insinuating some group is the cause of it is pointless, rude and serves only as flamebait not to mention a warnable offense here.

Console/Platform Flame Fest Ends.
