New Vegas Needs More Mutants

Seriously. Counting the number of mutants living with humans... three ghouls and one super mutant. On Jacobstown and the Bright Brotherhood, they seem a bit cast off fron society. Wouldn't there be more?

Logic, at the Master Death

There is no way to get more Mutants

They will go extinct in the West Coast, at least

Really? I thought they were much more integrated in NV then in Fallout 3 at least... All those ghouls working with the NCR - Keely, the doc at Aerotech Office Park, Beatrix, ghoul rangers, really makes you sick *mumbles*. In FO3 Underworld was like a ghoul ghetto, they didn't really try to socialise with humans.
Also a lot more relatively 'friendly' supermutants in the Mojave, compared to what - Fawkes, in CW?

Also, if anything, the Wasteland needs less mutants of all types, but that's what I'm there for...

There's plenty of ghouls, though, even going so far as having them popping up among the veteran rangers (no ghouls amongst Caesar's Legion, which conforms to their policies but could have been better explained in-game). As for the Super Mutants, Dario Meza's explanation is correct, not to mention that they're still shunned by the NCR (in no more parts thanks to the Nightkin.. though initially I think they planned to have a Super Mutant ranger in one of the camps, or at least, so it appears from digging in the game files with the GECK).

I found the contrast between the fairly well tolerated ghouls in the game and the Repconn ghouls amusing though I'm really not sure if it's supposed to be intentional or not.

There is a lot of Mutants in Mojave already. So many that they fill up both side of Black Mountain and form a town.

Isn't this fairly obvious. The game takes place over 100 years after Master's death, no more new Super Mutants in west coast. Black Mountain shows how well Super Mutants like integrating with human societies so many of them have been probably hunted down during the century and many of the remnant forces went much further east of California.

As for the ghouls, New Vegas wasn't hit by the bombs though some areas surrounding it were, so there's not much potential places to turn into a ghoul in Mojave Wasteland. Also ghouls don't seem to be too keen on migrating if they aren't under threat like they were in Necropolis, and most of the Necropolis' survivors went to Gecko and Dayglow, you know ghouls feel warm and fuzzy near radiation.

Ya...they filled a town.....but there is only like 20 living in that town......well there was 20 living there

But yeah I totally agree with you....I rarely see any to kill (including both ghouls and mutants) and sure they integrated into the army but there is one ranger camp filled with ghouls and like one human because nobody wants to live with those......things......and fallout had a lot more muties and ghouls that were in sewers and just scattered randomly around the wasteland.

Also who cares if the master dies....I still just want the game to be fun...not realistic.

Town of 20 is bigger than Goodspring, Primm or Novac.

But we need to keep the lore consistent

I dont see the fun in a game where the lore is incosistent and left plotholes

And they arent there just for your "target practice" :D

So, I care.

The game is not even realistic, when you see giants robots and flying rockets, you know that this SCIENCE

Yeah the realism isn't the thing here it's the consistency. And I'm not really arguing about this thing, I also feel that there should be more mutants in the game but I rather have the game depict the world as it's changing and tell the story of it than have something way out of line.

If I had a say in this matter the series would go back in time to somewhere between Fallout 1 & 2. The world would still be in full chaos and there is no form of stable government established yet and the storyline wouldn't be about saving the world as we know it. But thanks to Bethesda's stupid design plan the dark ages gone. Game over man.
