New Vegas NON-RADIO Soundtrack

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 11:34 pm

So I've been looking forever for a way to, preferably, buy the soundtrack to New Vegas, but not the stuff you hear on the radio (which is readily available). I'm talking about the gorgeous scores such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuPwioQTlow that are played whenever the radio is off.
I have been looking so hard for some way to get hold of this, but my searches have been drowned out by the radio tracklists. Am I seriously the only person wanting the actual originally written soundtrack for this game?

If anybody knows any way to purchase a CD then please tell me, but I guess download links would suffice if I can't go with that.
By the way, I'm assuming these are actually just taken from the PC folders of the game, but I wanted to make sure (I play it on Xbox so that option is out for me anyway).

All the best,
O

If you have the PC version you can just burn the music files to a disc yourself since you can easily access the files by simply navigating to the install directory of the game.

I thought so, but... I don't have the PC version, so I guess I'm kinda screwed.

I guess you can also use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/easy-youtube-video-downl-10137/, I find it a great thing.

No, no you cant. And downloading from youtube is technically illegal. Thats why they don't have such a feature by default.

Well I may eventually invest in a gaming PC where I would definitely get hold of New Vegas for that. Until then I will keep looking for purchasable versions, I guess.

EDIT: By the way, Gre-nads and Ham, I wish I saw your signature before I finished the game. XD

I don't see how it's morally wrong with downloading the soundtrack if you bought the game which has the soundtrack on it.

He bought the game on another platform aside from PC. Moral or not, its still illegal. Well, technically it would be illegal to burn the music to a disc as the licencing does not allow for that, but that is a different matter.

meh, I care more about what's morally right then about what's illegal, but that's just me

You can get some of the tracks that are from the originals but used in New Vegas in a soundtrack. You can get them here: http://auralnetwork.com/releases at the bottom of the page.
