You should be able to combine both codes for use in one game, but they can only be used once per copy. In other words, you and your brother would not both be able to share both starter packs.

As long as the suites don't have a un-removable helmet like other pre-order bonuses i have got, then these are a sure win. My favorite is the Caravan pack! Shottie and binoculars ftw.

I will probably not be able to get one of these pre-order exclusives.
I really hate it when they do stuff like this.
If it were only one kind of pre-order exclusive then that's fine, it just means you'd have to buy that one, but four different one's?
If they add these things further down the line like Left 4 Dead did with baseball bats then it's fine but to be required to buy 4 different copies to have 100% of the game's content?

I'm happy for the other stuff, repair kits, venom, throwing spears and super stimpacks but I'm not happy about the "exclusive" bs.

Why are you "required" to get any of them? They're bonuses - like getting a promotional glass for a movie at McDonalds. (plus, they're just items with slightly different textures or stats, or gained earlier - it's not like additional quests or zones.)

This pre-order nonsense with games has to stop. It's getting ridiculous.

Why did I run around the capital wasteland collecting skill books or unique weapons?
Because I wanted to complete a collection of those items.
So with this I cannot complete the Vegas collection.

And I'm not required to buy them but it will always be picking me in the back of my head that I will never be able to complete the collection.
That's what pisses me off.
And I know "what's the point of the collection?".
Nothing, just as pointless as pressing the LS button and placing items in your megaton house to decorate it, yet alot of us still do it.

And I'm not against "a" exlcusive but four different one's is what's irritating me.
It means basically noone but the one's with too much cash on their hands will be able to get all of these items.

I speculate that further down the road that this maybe available to everyone else with a fee, as seen in most games where preorder bonuses are released months later for a dollar or two.

Preorder bonuses... I guess they're alright if you already intended to get the game near/at launch at full price, but it's not something that would win me over.

I assume the items magically appear in your inventory ala Dragon Age? So it's like a retextured cheat item except not overpowered. Big deal.


It wouldn't surprise me if the textures already come with everyone's game, so that even without a pre-order they're easily modded in for PC users.

its the whole 4 different versions from other stores. one bonus for people that pre order from no matter where they preorder from is ideal. the four thing is wats ridiculous. like u didnt know what he meant.

Bah, that Dragon Age armor was just a drag on your inventory. Had to carry that thing around until someone in the party had high enough Str to wear it. :/
(Well, or just sell it for 8g. Which is a decent amount right at the beginning. But "our preorder bonus is 8g!!!!" just sounds so boring. )

Were you a mage?
There was some talent which lets you convert the str requirement for armor into magic requirements instead.

Anyone know when in game content bonuses are announced in relation to game release dates?

Classic seems like the way to go for hardcoe. Also, I never used Steam, and never ever will, so I don't have many options.
