New Vegas Radios

Post » Sun May 30, 2010 4:48 am

One thing that bugged me in FO3 was the fact that you couldnt change the station on the radios. Sure, you could switch out your station on your pip-boy, but its like the regular radios were stuck on one select station. I mean, if you look at them the dials to change stations were right there, what was stopping people or the Lone Wanderer from messing with them?

Id like to see the ability to change the radio station on the radios in New Vegas. I know its not some MAJOR problem, but for the sake of immersion, let the players be able to change the stations, maybe even get some reactions out of the NPCs if we change them to stations they dont like (IE the NPCs will change the station back or start complaining or even get angry at you).

Just a small suggestion to make the game of New Vegas feel more alive.

It could be useful if NPCs reacted to the change. You could sneak in and change the channel or turn it off, when the NPC heads to the radio to see what the problem was you could sneak past or get the jump on them.

Yus.
Spoiler
It became even more apparent in FO3 when the Enclave station shut down, and radios all over the Wastes were left on but with no station tuned in.

For me personally it was never about more than one radio station. It was more about having more songs on the radio rather than the same repetitive 8 or so that they had.

Yes please! We have no need for more than one thread per subject. :) Please search for an already open topic prior to posting a new one.
