Whenever I enter the strip the screen blacks out and all functions stop working. Opening the disc drive doesn't send me to the dashboard like usual and I can't bring up the guide. This only started happening after I finished Boone's side quest and he got his 1st Recon armor. Any saves before so have the same problem. I made it into the strip once, but it seemed to be a random occurrence as that save doesn't work either. I can go everywhere else in the game...except for the place I need to go.

Yep, many many people are having this issue (anyone who completed the debt collector quest and didn't lure the guy out of the strip). Bethesda's been mum on any possible fix, but fans have figured out you can avoid it by equipping an Old Cowboy Hat while entering the strip.

Here's hoping for a fix soon.
