New Voice Actor Confirmed?

Post » Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:00 pm

So I was just browsing the internet movie database (imdb) and I decided to check out Skyrim's page. You'll find it here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1814884/

Anyway, I noticed that imdb lists some dude named Brandon Ellison as voicing the General or a general.

Anybody ever hear of this Brandon Ellison guy? And more importantly, anyone know if this information is legit or where it came from?

P.S. - sorry if this has already been disused...

 He's also done voice work for Mafia II and Command and Conquer 4, so at least he has some experience in voicing games.

Honestly, people complain about Bethesda spending a lot of money on 'big names', then when Bethesda hire somebody else they mock him. Is this guy's voice acting (voice acting, specifically) really so terrible? Or are people just making fun of him because of the programmes and films he's worked on?

Pretty much this. I am a Fledgling actor, but I never plan on doing anything I won't be proud of.

so if you are lucky enough to get your first agent, you are planning to turn down 90% of the auditions he wants to send you on?

They had like what...15+ voice actors in Oblivion? God that annoyed me.

For example, if you put 50 Imperial males in one room, they'd ALL talk with the SAME EXACT VOICE! jeez.

I hope they fix this Skyrim

It's been confirmed there are over 70 VAs for Skyrim. So yeah, I think they fixed it.

Ah, but I am a man who is proud of the tiniest of things... just not anything on the Disney Channel.

Plus, I'm a Theater man myself. And also, very young

Yeah, personally, I'd love to have an acting career on television or in the movies, but Disney Channel would be me selling out big time. Not happening.

LOL OK talk to me again in a few years when you're old and jaded - even DiCaprio and Brad Pitt do lame commercials in Japan, for example.

But if you start in a Disney Channel show it produces this illusion that you are a family-esque actor. I mean that one girl from High School Musical only got a role in svcker Punch because she went [censored]ty.

Integrity and Respect are reward in and of themselves. There are children's shows with a heart and a genuine push to be of a great quality. Those I truely respect and admire. But on the other end there are far more idiotic, marketing programs created for the drooling unwashed masses.

I pose a question: You would never serve a hungry child a plate of [censored], so why would you want them to watch the intellectual equivelant?

Sidenote: I am also a fan of Red Heads. They are the best thing since sliced bread as they say.

As an example, here are Tara Strong's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tara_Strong (scroll down), she's been voice acting in. You can see some serious shows/cartoons she's VA'd in, but what other shows do you see in the list?

Point is, just because your in a few non serious shows, doesn't mean you can fail badly in a more serious role.
