I posted this on the SD Forums as well, Please support and reply if you like the Idea.

These two votes are badly needed.

Vote Change Team:
Same as Vote Kick but it doesnt kicks the person, it just puts the person voted for in the other team.
As it is now, if me and my freinds whant to play in the same team we often need to vote kick people from the match, even if theres space in the other Team.
Asking People to change mostly not works because they in XBLIVE Party Chat or dont have a Microphone.

Vote Hostmigration:
Often The Game chooses a Host that cant handle the max player numbers, or just has a unstable connection, uses weak wireless or is downloading stuff in the backround.
Even when everyone gets red bars every 5-10 secs the game doesnt do this on this own.
If the Host is on our team and we all suffer lag we just Vote-Kick the person to force a Host Migration, after this it runs fine 99% of the time.
So it would be really Usefull and a good way to cure the Lag if we had a Vote to let the Game choose a new Host. Of Course all people on the Server had to Vote.

I hope SD reads this and can put it in the next Big Patch

I think a request to change teams would be better, u initiate it, and if someone on the other team responds to it u 2 switch sides.

when i heard of vote change teams i thought it would scramble the team, for when u get one sided matches

So what happens if I'm playing with my buddies and you vote to put me on the other team? Suddenly I'm inconvenienced after finally getting into the same game as them just so you can play with yours? Not trying to sound harsh, just trying to see how this is a good thing.

Host Migration; For. I'm really surprised the game doesn't auto shift hosting to the best connection of all the connected players. Although it may just be that it could potentially shift umpteen times throughout a match depending on the drop in/out traffic.

Team Change Vote; Against. I'd rather see this resolved with a basic sort of lobby feature that lets you geta group together and start your own match. It sure beats a bunch of people I don't know wandering in and booting me out of my own match. -.-;

It does Auto Migrate but it is way too forgiving . It needs to Automigrate as sooner.

2.
We will never see a Lobby system intgrated throu a patch, it takes too much work, and too many changes in the game code would be reqiured.
A Vote Change Team option is much more realistic.

Change teams, no - would take away player choice. Players can swap teams at will, and this would interfere with that. If they let us create a fireteam pre-match, then this wouldn't be needed at all.

Me and my friends HAVE to kick people from the match as it is now to get into one team.
We would rather Vote Team Change them.
Fireteam Prematch could work, of course it would result in starting new matches more often .
But i doubt that such a big change gets implemented after release.

Of course the majority had to vote for it to happen.

I was emphasising that it should need to be more than just a majority, which means more than half - at least 2/3 of players in the match. If it's just a majority, and there's 16 players, and 9 players are experiencing minor, but annoying lag, they vote to migrate, and the 7 players who were fine with it will be sitting there waiting for a migration that wasn't needed by anyone, only to find out the current host was already the best option, and carry on. And yes, things like that would happen a LOT if you put that to a vote.

I was referring more to a forced automigrate if a better connection pops up. It may well be that's already how it works, I really have no idea as I've only seen it happen once or twice, and never in an occasion with horrible lag.

2. I can dream though, I'd still prefer something apart from a forced change of team. I mean both forced team change and outright booting are equally douchebaggy. With the sole exception of when someone else drops into a match you started and is then taking up a spot you intended someone else to fill. In these situations, both options being equally jerkfaced, I'd rather just kick me entirely. If I wanted to be playing for the Resistance, I would already be playing for the Resistance.

I'll also add that I am in huge favour of a kick idle players option.

Better host migration would be awesome, it was one of the things I really enjoyed about CoD Blops

Even if a lobby system is unrealistic, why not make a system like in Bad Company 2 where people create a squad then join a game together?
