what is the main point in joining a clan now because what happends if someone does not get it for months

I usually just join clans if I like the people. If some of them don't get the game in the end ... whatever. I most likely had a good time with them before.

The main point in joining a clan?
- Play with people you know, and that knows you (This brings with it better team work, and communication)

And if you don't get the game for months, then I don't think you got anything to worry about, there are still brackets so one can join games with people with characters of the same level. However, these can be turned off, so a Lvl. 1 can go face a Lvl. 20

If my friends get the game as well the yes I will most likely join a clan. If not, I guess I'll be playing with strangers.

Just post around. Add to discussions. It'll work out. Probably.

Depends on what you are looking for. Casual players just join clans to be with a group of friends, hardcoe players join clans to get into the competitive games. I've seen hardcoe friends of mine stay in a clan with people they hate just because those people were good at the game.

Seems a bit counter-productive, playing with people you don't get along with.

Yeah, I'd never join a clan consisting of people I don't like :l

To clarify, he would hang around me and my clan most of the time, and just stayed in the one clan because he was far too obsessed with winning in clan matches.

I prefer to play with players with the right attitude. If the game's fun, you'll keep playing (together) and eventually get better.

The point of joining a clan is to be consistently able to play with good players who have an enjoyable attitude. If there were to be tournaments which I doubt there will be they'd allow you a team for them.
