the burned man isn't dead, because if he was then the Legion slaves wouldn't be making such a fuss about him. It's more than a ghost story. Maybe the tribals have his head in a jar like that one in Point Lookout.

I wonder if some people think that by posting "I give up and am moving on" it will somehow force the sudden arrival of the DLC we're all waiting for.

Am I impatient? Yep. Do I want more DLC for New Vegas? I'm practically chewing my fingers off waiting for it.

But I'm just going to keep waiting. I'm sure we'll see it at some point. Little... threats... (like "I'm selling mine" or "I'm moving on") won't help anything.

Yah and neither will it help there gamers for them waiting longer to release this DLC. Time is money and there losing money for this 1 dlc. Its pretty bad...

well shucks, a Bethesda spokesman here on the forums basically announced that they will be announcing the next dlc soon, its just that they are working on a patch for the base game. Although, they did say soon three weeks ago...

yes, but now its VERY soon! lol. Someone on a thread here posted that the next DLC will probably be out on the 4th of may. According to the bethesda post, the patch will be ready in a few weeks. The 4th is about 3 weeks from now, so it will probably come out (the DLC and the patch) either that week or the next week, which means only three or four more weeks!!!!

Well, hopefully we will get the announcement sooner or later. Plus, I'm glad to hear that a patch has been submitted. Usually with the submission of a patch, a DLC is usually not to far along. :vaultboy:

well the patches usually take 2-3 weeks to be approved for ps3 and 360 hence the comment about pc getting it first in the announcement, so hopefully well get some info by next week and the dlc a week or two after that depending on wether the patch was accepted the first time. I'm glad they finally told us what was taking so long glad to see them still supporting their game even if it is delaying the dlc a little bit I've been running into a lot of freezing lately so I really appreciate the patch that'll improve that.

Thank god for the new patch that'll be coming out I'm still getting problems with Raul's personal quest.

@ Vexen the Ghost people were part of the whole hostile enviroment. Your stuck in Mexico in a town with a poisonous cloud that kills you if you breath it in. you have a bomb on your neck, the only help you have is a bi-polar supermutant, a mute ex-BOS member and a ghoul diva. And on top of it "people" who can't die normally in gas masks trying to kill you. It's all part of the theme

I'm getting sick of the word "soon."
I'd rather them just be honest from the get-go and say "we're having some troubles and it's gonna take a while."
Don't say "soon" or "very soon" and then wait two months.

True, and I actually enjoy the theme and the Ghost People themselves, but I dislike enemies that don't have any good motivation to be an enemy. I would have liked Obsidian to put a little more effort into the Ghost People, by being able to communicate with one or some of them in some way.

The mutation caused their minds to go backwards making them nothing more but territorial predators.
What other reason is there for them to be your enemy?
It's like dropping down a shark tank and then politely asking the shark if you can't just solve the dispute between him and you diplomatically.
The shark don't care, the shark don't give a [censored], he's hungry and he sees food.

And I think that sums up the Ghost People.
The mutation, isolation and disconnection from the civilized world has turned them into predators fit for survival in the mist.

you couldn't talk to Troggs either, although they had a core story reason for being there.

According to the fallout wikia, there are 4 DLC's for sure(3 more) AND the possibility of 2 more

"According to one video game news blog[8], a source "close to Bethesda Softworks" spoke to journalists on condition of anonymity, saying that four DLC's other than Dead Money were in development as of December 2010, with two others being considered, which if approved would make for a total of seven add-ons for release over the next two years. Of the four DLC's planned for release after Dead Money, the source was said to have stated that the Courier has a "relationship" with Ulysses and that the nature of the relationship would surprise players. He also said that a future DLC would add an area to the game that players "likely thought they would never see", as well as "a personality [from] Fallout 3". "

Ulysses is either your brother or your lover. Personality from Fallout 3 will be Harkness, the synthie from Rivet City (only person who would still be alive at this point. Unless one of the kids from Little Lamplight. Or old Lady Bittercup :D ) . Place you'd never thought you'd see is the Grand Canyon or Area 51.

Maybe...

Why would Harkness be the only one alive? It's only 4 years after Fallout 3. I think we might see Fawkes or Sarah Lyons. Bittercup lol She LOVED me.
