Also.. These person can be colonel Autumn. There possible to let him alive in F3. And if these considered canon there is chance to meet him and other Enclave remnants.
These also can be Outcasts

Place you'd never thought you'd see can be Vault 13, New Arroyo or Vault City. Or possible Area 51

Courier: Who are you?

Ulysses: I am your father:

Courier: nooooooo.........

Ulysses: There is great power in the dark side, join we and as father and son we will rule the empire.

Courier: *shoots self*

Ulysses: ...er...., well there is another.

(I would crap if something along these lines happened in the new DLC)

Ulysses gets the upper hand in the battle and wins. He strings to up to a tree and rides away on his molerat. As he goes over the horizon, you shout "Usysses, you dirty son of a biiii....". He turns and grins, pulling out his rifle and shooting the rope.

Oh wait, this cowboy thing is getting to me...

Ulysses is either your brother or your lover. Personality from Fallout 3 will be Harkness, the synthie from Rivet City (only person who would still be alive at this point. Unless one of the kids from Little Lamplight. Or old Lady Bittercup :D ) . Place you'd never thought you'd see is the Grand Canyon or Area 51.

Maybe...

Actually given the grave at wofhorn ranch(Known as Ulysses's Ranch in several versions) There is a flagpole with no flag above it( I'm guessing what he used to make his suit) it is a possibility and my personal belief that the courier killed someone close to him, who really believed in freedom and the American way ect. and that is what inspired Ulysses to wear the things he is supposed to wear and go after the courier.

if that were the case though, he'd just hunt the courier down and introduce him/her to old Smith''n'Western. More important than the reason Ulysses hates the Courier, is the reason he HASN'T gone after him imo

I doubt Ulysses is going to be your lover, because that would create some problems if you were a boy or girl. Sadly, because some people out there would not play a game with a homosixual relationship, but if you played as a female or male character, it changes the dialogue and everything, so I say he is a brother.

Person from FO3 will be Moira Brown LOL

Area that will surprise us could be Area 51, not Grand Canyon, because we already have the Grand Canyon. So maybe like Los Angeles? San Francisco?

It wouldn't make any sense to go to Los Angeles or San Francisco. The distance between Las Vegas and those two cities are quite far. LA is 265 miles away and SF is 564 miles away. It would be absurd to go to either one. Area 51 is 126 miles away from Las Vegas. It could be plausible for them to go there, but hopefully not.

Area 51 is a possibility, but I don't think an Area 51 DLC would be as cool as people think. It would basically be like Mothership Zeta, except not in a ship. The whole alien thing does not fit Fallout imo and I'm not a fan of the energy weapons and fighting aliens. I prefer the rundown cities, people struggling to survive, that stuff, no aliens. Maybe New Reno? ( http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Reno ), it is mentioned by several FNV characters according to the wiki

How is wandering around a rather linear ship, killing aliens with dozens of bullets, fun? I mean sure at first it seems cool but after a while it just isn't as great.

Also i don't have any problems with aliens or anything, if they put it in well it could be cool, but I do prefer talking to " the same broke ass boring people" because of how great the story and dialogue in this game is.

That's what the Vault Dweller/Chosen One traveled in the originals, it just took a realistic amount of time with the node system. It fits more within the scope of the base game to go within 2 weeks of walking from the section of the Mojave we play in, but they might be able to come up with a good reason for Los Angeles.

Also, to those who are now speculating on the "personality from Fallout 3" from that "reliable source close to Bethesda", it is old news, and unreliable old news. Seriously. It makes little sense for people to come over from Fallout 3 (across the country), and if they found a reason, it is hard to make a good one. All evidence points to there being 4 DLCs, the thing with the source saying Ulysses is the Couriers lover is BS, and the source is completely dubious. I was happy when that ridiculous "source" was forgotten.

Eight DLC would be ridiculously awesome, but 4 or 5 is good enough. :)

Easy, some of the BOS from Washington could make the trek back to the Mojave to restablish contact. You meet up with them and have to escort them to the BOS Bunker (without fast travel) and complete a few missions. Simple enough.

I prefer wandering the deserted wasteland seeing the horrors of a nuclear war, opposed to a science fiction, fighting-aliens game. I could buy Halo to fight aliens

I don't think it' so much Aliens in themselves. Aliens are part of the Fallout Canon and universe, so they are there. I think it's because of Mothership Zeta, put a lot of people off. (whereas originally you would find the crashed ship and that was that)

An Area 51 DLC, with a few aliens in tubes or running around would be fine. Just not a whole DLC based on them - unless it's a brilliantly written and sensible one.

I think this is the most important part.

As long as the writing is excellent and the DLC actually makes sense, I wouldn't care if they brought in dancing radioactive flying Hippo's.

let's see...four years after fallout 3....."source" claims there will be a "personality from fallout 3".........

I know this is gonna get flamed all to heck and back, but you know who i miss? Someone who strikes me as essential to the Fallout series??

Harold.

Let the speculation commence.

He's been BBQ'd.

Unless in canon The Lone Wanderer didn't kill him.
Still, even so I don't see how he's suppose to survive what Bob did to him.
Even if someone cut him off from Bob the organs have still been moved around.
So yeah, he's stuck as hell.

I just want to know when they're going to announce the new dlc, it's taking way too long. The patch is going to help a lot because my game freezes every 20-30 min.
