Next DLC announcement

Post » Tue Mar 30, 2010 8:41 pm

Hello,
When do you guys think Bethesda or Obsidian will announce the next Fallout New Vegas DLC? I'm hoping it will be in the coming weeks, considering it's almost March and we haven't heard a thing about any of the three upcoming DLC. You can also speculate which of the three DLC (Lonesome Road, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues) or perhaps another title will be first. Hopefully it will be Honest Hearts first and it will be released in late March/ early April.

Mothership Zeta? lol

Honest Hearts will be next, and feature Joshue Graham A.K.A. the burned man. I don't think it wll be released late March, but hey, we never know!

I wish Old World Blues was next but it's pretty certain that it will be Honest Hearts.

I would not mind a Mothersip Zeta remake. I thought that it was the best FO3 DLC. I loved the face paced scifi feel to it. I would really like to see Mothersip Zeta come abduct the courier.

Well, I hope they announce the next DLC soon, and hopefully the next DLC will have large open space like Point Lookout or a really good story

I wonder what will the third DLC be about. There really isn't any mysteries left in the base game, assuming the Burned Man is in Honest Hearts and Ulysses in the last one.

I would like to see another Mothership Zeta. Maybe another alien craft could come and abduct the courier. I thought Mothership Zeta was an awesome DLC and I would like to see another one like it for NV.

What do you have against Mothership Zeta, I thought that it was a classic, I would love to see it return.

*punch* >joke<

Anyways, the names (@ epicness1) are titles purchased by ZeniMax for use in a game. (Honest Hearts was in the game files, honest hearts was bought... Obvious conclusion for this is obvious.)

I would love to see a new version of Mothership Zeta. I love aliens and think that scifi themed DLCs are awesome. Maybe the courier could get abducted by the farmstead.

I am quite honestly surprised by the amount of people who actually liked Mothership Zeta. I'm even more surprised that people actually want the same thing to happen to the Courier. The horror!

I think it's sad all of these good people speculating about what the next DLC for Fallout New Vegas is. I'm sure that at this writing there is already software, and new expanded collectors editions of the Game Guide for New Vegas all packaged up and sitting in a warehouse ready to be released at a predetermined point in time. It's all about marketing and creating a demand for a particular product....such as DLC. I for one would have paid the extra money on the spot for the DLC. As it is I am stuck at level 35 and do not want to play further until more levels are added, as well as the fact that I have heard through the graqevine that you can't play Dead Money if you have completed the main Quest. Any comments on this?

zeta was average could have been awsome but the story felt rushed any why couldnt the aliens be non hostile and talkable maybe you could help them or choose to fight against them just it was 2 linear and it just felt like an fps worst fo3 dlc.

Mothership Zeta was horrible. You have a crappy story, crappy premise, crappy idea, and that makes a crappy DLC.

Yeah, mothership zeta svcked...
On the bethesda blog, they said they'll be releasing three additional add-on packs in the coming months. So im guessing the first one is going to be released either mid march or sometime in April... hopefully. I really don't care which one comes first, im just hoping they raise the level cap again.
Do you guys know what the add-ons are going to be about? It would be cool if they did something with the simulation pods at the nelis air force base.
