Next Great War (repercussions with Empire Ulfric)

I see that many people think that the Civil War in Skyrim has a lot of repercussions depending on who you choose. I'll list a few.

Empire:

Still let the Thalmor walk around Skyrim freely.

Still banning Talos worship, which isn't the best thing for Mankind/ Let's the Dominion carry on with their plans of undoing creation.

The Nords are pretty pissed which is going to cause bother, seeing as they have a LOT of excellent warriors. (Possibly civil unrest)

The Empire will be spread thin(er) by having soldiers in Skyrim.

Stormcloaks:

Mankind is splintered/ divided.

Aggravates the Thalmor as they legalize Talos worship.

Possibly spurs the Dominion into motion, creating another war.

May cause a chain reaction where other provinces decide to rebel.

If the Stormcloaks decide not to become allies with the Empire, there may be a three-way war when tempers get high in the Dominion or the Empire.

So I ask, how do you think the War will pan out when the Empire or the Stormcloaks divide Skyrim? I think a whole Empire will do OK in the war, but then again if the Stormcloaks expel the Thalmor, then they won't have a solid foothold in the Empire, which is going to affect their plans.

I think the biggest question is who's most capable of defeating the Thalmor? I need to check up on the Stormcloak relations with other provinces, but the Empire have pretty much annoyed most of them, leaving them with few allies. And if you're picking between Empire and Stormcloaks you also have to decide if Ulfric is fit to be Emperor (This will probably end up happening if he manages to defeat the empire). I think that Ulfric can defeat the Empire, but I'm not sure about the Dominion after that, not on his own at least. If he can get some other provinces e.g Hammerfell to side with him then they have a damn good chance, but it really doesn't help that he's a racist, proud mammoth cheese. It's not like the war is over between the dominion and the empire, it's just over in writing. Once the opportunity rises one of the two sides will be on the others back again, and hopefully it's not the dominion that wins.

The best way to do this would be to let everybody know what the Dominion is up to and what they want, then send couriers out to every single person of power and try to get as many allies as possible, because aint nobody wants uncreation 'ceptin' the Dominion. But that won't happen because this is TES.
