Has the same amount of time and effort, or more, been put into the in-game books as in Oblivion. My view, shared with many others, is the in game Lore and other books are a very important element of TES.

@ LostInSpace - you made a comment in the previous thread about the virtues of Todd answering questions on GI, rather than here: namely, that if Todd were to answer questions in good faith here, he'd probably end up giving away too much information and spoil a lot of the game for us.

Don't disagree with that, but just to add a followup thought. It seems that Todd could give us some useful information about stuff we care about, without giving away too many details. For example, with fast travel, he could just say "Yes, there will be more immersive modes of fast travel in Skyrim, but we aren't ready to say what they are". Or, with spellmaking, he could just say "Yes, mages will have substantial options available for customising their spells, but we aren't ready to say more about that." I guess I hope we get something like that.

someone ask how customizable charecters are? there is a masive difference between the amazing fallout system+ dynamic overlays and apb level of customization

also ask about pauldrons,shirts underneath armour, skirts and whatever you call those rags that go over the shoulders and chest

Me too. I've seen some cloth clipping in one of the GI screens and didn't like it at all. And even less having existing technologies like PhysX and Havok Cloth that could remove it.

I have some question I would like to have answered, but I dont have a GI account.

Will there be epic battles like the battle of Minaths Tirith in LOTR? I mean are there great battles where you either have to defend a city or invade one (with catapults and stuff).
Also: What kind of realism is added to the game? Will we be able to see footprints in the snow, will we see the breath of characters in cold weather (will there be seasons?) and like snow, will we be able to see the raindrops hit the sorroundings and float (I loss the words)? And stuff like that.

Hand placed Artifacts and hidden loot were almost completely absent from The Elder Scrolls IV.

Will this make a return in Skyrim?

My Questions :

1 Will there be again piecemental armour like was present inmorrowind ? Seems that the 99% of the players demand it back!

2 How big will be the world compared to the Oblivion and Fallout can we hope in a much larger scale ambient?

3 Will the snow have different deep levels that will slow down the player and eventually leave trace of the passage?

4 Will the weather actively influence the gameplay and the same player by forcing him to wear pelts and heavy clothes to protect from cold ? Would be silly to see the player run around half naked on a glacier...

5 Will there be new kind of transportation like boats and carts?

6 Will the Game on pc side at least make use of direct x 11 and tessellation?

7 Will the new Creation editor be easier to use compared to the old CS and see new file format different from the old nif files that where quite a problem in modding needing the use of a nif tool and severall tricks to perform some changes in the properties of the objects.

8 Will it be possible to have different paths of game that are mutually exclusive one of the other so to have the game more replayable with different character? like Path of warrior or Mage or thief and eventually quests with different directions in choices made?

9 Will the cities be open and so have the possibility to fly or levitate above structures?

10 Will the cities be mre massive and alive ? The Oblivion and fallout settlements looked really like small underpopulated villages than cities .

11 Will there be the possibility tohave more masive encounters with many foes and friends fighting at the same time like battles run by more than a few people?

12 Will it be possible to have an Online tavern where at least meet with other players and show the character how was made and the different customizations that we did? And eventually any idea of a coop game that for example coul dstart after the main quests are over so to not spoil anything of the player main quests?

13 Will there be Seasons?

14 Since seems the stats have been simplified , it wasn't very clear what has been removed and why in favour of what is remained , I think personally a better way to go was to detail more the class system that included many nice rpg elements and atmosphere , instead one single man that can do anything like a poliedric genius is quite unrealistic and simplicistic , there will be any enhancement on other sides of the character creation that will still give the feeling of having control on the characteristics or the game willend with each player having the same kind of character that will vary just according to appearence this time?

15 Will the story be more dark and mature compared to Previous games? I personally would likeit so ...

I want to know about armor slots. Will there be fewer or more then Oblivion?
And if its possible to wear clothing under armor.

Also i would like to know if there are any new guilds, or how many guilds there are.

Are throwing weapons in?

Also, houses, are houses in, and are they more customizable then in Oblivion?

This, and the skill-list is probably the things im most curious about, since im fairly confident that the other things will be good.

I've asked a question about the PC HUD.

Does the HUD work in the same way for the PC as it does for the consoles? Will we have to press up/down/left/right on our keyboards too to open up the compass, map et cetera?

It's probably been asked before: How much stealth exclusive gameplay can we expect? I recall reading that some of the original designers of the Thief games worked in the development of Oblivion. Can we expect to see things like better implementation of stealth, different types of distraction, sneak kills, better use of shadow and some of Garret's arsenal, like the tool belts, blackjack and gas arrows?
