I can't get over the idea that the Eagles might have actually gotten better this season with Michael Vick being a huge improvement over Donovan McNabb :(

 Kolb is the Eagles starter.

For now.

Vick won't amount to [censored],The only way the Eagles succeed is if Kolb is a s good as only they hope.Would of been a better idea to tell the fans to shut the hell up and fix the real problems. For instance their D could be much better and the O line is weak.

Agreed on all counts. I wasn't alluding to Vick taking over the spot, I was alluding to another QB somewhere. It wouldn't surprise me to see a signing or a trade sometime during the season. Either way, I could care less, because I hate the Eagles. I would take great joy in watching them stumble all over the field on their way to a winless, miserable season.

I use to respect them a little but once they traded McNabb that went out the window.Philly sports are just poorly managed teams partly because they listen to the fans to much.

I can't speak for them listening to the fans, because I'm obviously not there to see and hear it. They are all poorly managed though. As much as much I despise certain teams, I still kinda feel bad when I have to see it's fans deal with poor management and bad decisions. Going through the last decade or so of being a sports fan in Dallas makes me feel for others who have to suffer the same fates. The Rangers finally broke out of it, and ol' Jerry has done a much better job as of late. We still have the Stars and Mavericks making us scratch our heads though.

Oh they listen to them all the time,Philly has a past of running star players out of town.McNabb,Barkley,Iverson, and Lindros are a few.Philly can be one of the best places to be if your successful but if the team is not winning it all is torches and pitchforks.

Iverson seemed to overstay his welcome though. I'll agree with you on the other ones. As far as McNabb goes, I have a hard time blaming him as much as a lot of people do. He wasn't exactly given a lot to win with in the past few years. Sure, they got a couple of WR's. But then they had a poor defense. And I still think Andy Reid is overrated as a coach. I have a feeling this team is going to finish close to the bottom of the East. It's not exactly bursting at the seams with talent, and to hand that over to an unproven QB to run it, I don't know. It's gonna be bleak for them.

Yeah, Iverson had disagreements with the Sixers themselves, that's why he went off to Melo and the Nuggets. I mean, he led them to the Finals and even handed the Lakers their only loss that postseason, their not going to drive him out. As for the others, yeah.

But on topic, MICHAEL VICK ISN'T STARTING FOR THE EAGLES?? WHY?

That was a good performance by McNabb and the Skins.47-17 win over the Bills.McNabb went 5-8 with with 58yds and a TD.some of the passes he completed where thread through a needle too.Even Fat Albert said after the game that he liked the 3-4.

:meh: Very disappointing.

Because he is not a good QB and Kolb is supposed to be the future.

I dunno.... I think Vick's gonna surprise a few people.... He looks like he's in great shape again, and even when just coming back, he'd maintained his football fitness. I hate the Eagles, but I'm rooting for Vick.

I'm still waiting for Detroit to pull it together though, Staffords gonna have a top-tier season, but I doubt they'll make the playoffs regardless..

That's not a bad team at all. I'm ready for our draft already.

Yea I figure anything that doesn't work out I can trade for as I have plenty of bench.

Edit:Its pretty nice how far Jackson and Holmes fall because of their suspensions.

Is there going to be a forum fantasy football? I'm already managing a team on yahoo so I'd prefer not to manage another, but if there is one going on this year, count me in. :)

Lame.

I have 3 other leagues anyways.

EDIT: Thadeus Rains, have you ever been to Cowboys Stadium? I went there this past January, the place is awesome. There's not a bad seat in the house.

Yea, it seemed like a fair share of the league wanted it to stay 12 and I figured it would be best to keep it that way for one more year at least.

Cowboys

So much talent....they need to deliver...this year

A Superbowl with homefield advantage would be sweet.
