Give McDaniels time. Cutler traded himself, and tbh, he has always been the most inconsistent quarterback in the league. Players can actually get into his head too, he isn't as good as bears fans like pretending.

Not really, I think anybody would be upset if they found out their coach was attempting to make deals behind his back.Especially after the season he had with 4500 yards an 25 TDs.Yes he makes bad decisions from time to time but give him some good WRs end those mistake happen less and less.

I'm ready to see a touchdown celebration where someone acts like they are holding a camera, and points it at their midsection.

If Brett Favre really did that, he's a dog.

...Niners. Come on, man. You're killing me. Apparently, all they need is to have Singletary chew out Smith before every drive. He was on the first two drives in the fourth quarter. Ugggg.

0-5. The top of the division is 3-2. What the hell? Oakland next week. Hopefully we can get something rolling then.

It's not just Smith though

I mean Gore screwed up quite a bit tonight too. I'm not one for really holding the QB responsible for wins or losses (well this time it was) because this is a team sport. I see a lot of flaws with the defense as well as the offense. The defense is great against running plays but really needs a lot of work when protecting against the pass. There's also a lot of problems with offensive players as well (there was a lot of Gore screw ups this game).

A lot of it is inexperience plain and simple and a lot of the mistakes reflect that. While the 49ers look terrible now I can see in a couple of seasons having a seasoned veteran 49er team that can kick ass and make plays happen. It would be nice for them to win now but if they became a seasoned team I can see a great team being formed that will be good for years and years after that.

Yes, Gore did make quite a few mistakes (2 fumbles and that bad missed catch), but everything clicked when Singletary gave them that talk. I wasn't putting it all on Smith, just saying that it seems like when his job is in trouble, the offense finally clicks, then it starts to slack off as time goes on.

All the talent is there. All the players are there. It just needs to come together as one cohesive unit. Smith can put the ball where it needs to be, but he makes stupid mistakes (that fumble and a couple bad decisions). Gore is a heavy and fearsome runner, but defenses have been able to contain him. Davis is the man, but they just need to get the ball to him. The defense is great against the run and short game, but the middle was wide open all night. Special Teams seems like the most complete part of the team right now.

My friend's a Cowboys fan so we watched the game today; I gotta say, I'm not sure how Wade Phillips still has a job. That defense's tackling was awful, and Romo made a lot of risky throws. Roy Williams and Miles Austin are both pretty good, but that team is going nowhere with Wade coaching.

Randy Mossback to Minnesota foar 3rd round pick.

Honestly I was really dissapointed this happened, but not suprised, and I like the timing of the deal.

1. Bye Week. Bill gets two weeks to tune up his Randy-less offense for the Ravens, maybe work out some new schemes, get Tate involved.
2. Record (3-1). Patriots are in the position that they can perhaps work out a trade for Vincent Jackson (unlikely) or some other decent wide receiver. A loss to Baltimore, which was likely WITH Randy, is not a division game and they can afford to lose it.
3. Vikings next game is against the Jets. :D

49ers still have a chance to win their division. Arizona won the division a few years ago at 9-7, 49ers can lose maybe 2 more games this season and still have a chance at the playoffs but theres still 11 games to go this season, they just need to get it together.

49ers!!!!!!

Finally a win!!!

I was gonna cry if they didn't beat the Raiders. I mean seriously if you can't beat a team you beat in pre-season you might as well give up on the season.

25 TDs, 18 interceptions(14INTs the year before). Nothing was behind his back. The Broncos weren't even the ones who initiated the talks and even outright said they wouldn't trade him. That is all it took for Cutler to stop showing up, to stop ANSWERING PHONES and refusing to talk with Pat Bowlen, the team owner. If that doesn't show his immaturity, how easily he gets flustered does. I remember a game vs. San Diego where Philip Rivers was taking complete advantage of that. He is very inconsistent, meaning he will have one outstanding game then svck terribly the next.

Last year? He had 26 Interceptions. Notice how the number keeps going up? BTW, ANY quarterback would look good with good receivers. I'm still confident that Chris Chambers is the only reason Jay Fiedler started in Miami for so many years.

Orton had 10 wins his rookie season, which is a Bears record. He also had a winning record in 08 with the Bears, beating the Colts, which was impressive.

To me the Broncos just looked better with Cutler.I am not saying it was a terrible trade just an unnecessary one.

Ok here is a real test to see what the Skins got.If the can beat the Colts I a sold that they are a playoff contender.

They didn't want to make it until Cutler refused to play for them anymore. I agree it was unnecessary, but the Broncos got the Bears' 1st round draft pick, and, thanks to Cutler, it was high enough to grab Tebow... who I'd rather have anyway. He's much saner.

Also, is anybody watching this crap? The Colts, winning with 2:45, choose to pass instead of burn the clock out. A 4th grader could make better play calls. The Redskins' main success has been their running game, force them to use timeouts so they can only pass it. Colts could've passed the 2-minute warning on the first play, then I could see risking a well planned pass play. We were on 4th down 20 seconds after getting the ball. Give a team that has been running all over us 4 clock stoppages? GARBAGE!

Not a bad game, hey they almost had it.If that player did not make an amazing game saving pick it might of been a TD.

The Patriots got away with one there. The game should have been a blowout they should be ashamed that they let Chargers come back to that extent.

good game between the Viking and Packers there. either team could have won the game but I think that the pack played well all round bar a few defensive mistakes and rodgers throwing 2 picks

The vikings were cheated one of the Packer touchdown's should have been called back and that second Minnesota touchdown should have been challenged.

I'm still angered over the end of the Steelers/Dolphins game. The ball was clearly fumbled, and it was either recovered by Pittsburgh or Miami. Giving the Steelers a "do over" because they're the NFL's star franchise is a crock of [censored].

But, the Titans managed to win without CJ2K scoring a touchdown or Vince Young, so it was a pretty good weeked. One thing I have learned so far in this young season is how horrid the NFC is. Not one of the division leaders from the NFC would even be a playoff team in the AFC. Looks like the real Super Bowl will be the AFC Championship game. I'm sure the NFL will find some way to make sure the Steelers are in it, even if they have to have the referee's make up a few rules to help them get there.

Not sure who I want to loose more here.I love seeing the Cowboys fail like this and they are the Skins biggest rival. The Giants though are just annoying all the fans around me that know nothing of football and they are the biggest competition in the division.

Don't worry Dallas fans. Kitna will lead you into the deep playoff run that Romo never could.
