The Cowboys have a weaker division. They would've needed help but getting to the playoffs at 9-7 was conceivable. They needed the Eagles to lose 2 games out of 4 and the Cowboys could still beat them twice. Cowboys 9-7, Eagles 9-7.

Then they would need the Giants to lose 3 out of 6 games. 9-7.

Then the Redskins would only need to lose 1 game and then lose to the Cowboys.

It was conceivable last week. Now it's over.

To say 9-7 won't get you to the playoffs is garbage. Since 2000 only 3 seasons did teams with 10-6 or better records make the playoffs. In fact, the Chargers went 8-8 and won their division and made the playoffs.

Why give up hoping until they are officially eliminated? It takes away from watching the game..

The Vikings?Really?Come on now. :sadvaultboy:

They have such a poor offense,McNabb has done fine but he has no team around him.Moss is inconsistent and Cooley is just a TE.Running game is atrocious, maybe after this season they will give Portis the boot finally.

Yea I was surprised to see him of all people do that. I don't lose any respect for him, even the best of us do stupid things.

Interesting call by the Ravens to go for it instead of trying the field goal. Also I have to say horrible play calling by the officials for not calling the helmet to helmet. I have to hand it to Big Ben though playing with a broken nose and boot on his leg. Hopefully the Pats will be able to trump the Jets tomorrow.

I can't say trying to kick Courtland Finnegan's ass is a stupid thing, I hate that guy.. It moved AJ up a few notches in my book.

Looks like McFail has finally been relieved as HC of the Broncos.

Hopefully this will be good....

Very interesting. A lot of coaches getting canned this year. I wonder who will be interim.

I don't blame our shoddy performance on the HC, entirely. Sure, he doesn't make the best calls. Sure, his offense is a tad predictable. But what about the players?

We literally look like a pee wee team out there on the field. That is not entirely the coach's fault. IMO, I think our players just dont' care. They get paid, so why should they win games or even try to win? No passion in our team, except for maybe one or two players. Maybe firing the coach will solve that, maybe not. We'll see....

Problem is the front office. Any GM that trades away Peyton Hillis and Brandon Marshall, yet expects to be competitive, needs to be evaluated.

Well that's what I said when they were traded....But I guess they were "not the right material for the team." I guess that's why we lose, and is why McD was fired. Can't win games when you trade away a bunch of talent.

Holy [censored]! Not even in my wildest dreams did I think we would blow out the Jets. I was somewhat worried we might lose this one! The offense played very well and the defense played phenomenally keeping the Jets out of the endzone. Gooooooooooooooooooooooo! Paaaaaaaaaatttttttttttrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiioooooooooooootttttttttttttttssssssssssss!

I have to say that was one of the better games of the season in the NFL. I'm all for the refs keeping flags in their pockets unless its something absolutely necessary. I thought the zebras did a good job of that. Ben is tough as hell. Playing with a more than likely broken foot and a busted nose takes some heart. Polamalu won that game.

Luckily out of the last 4 games, 3 are at home and 3 are against relatively easy teams. So hopefully the Steelers get time to heal. Now to find a punter. Is Jeff Feagles still alive?

Step 1: Get HC position.
Step 2: Clash with all your talented players.
Step 3: Trade them.
Step 4: Draft Tebow
Step $ Step 5: Get paid.

I hope the blowout of the Jets doesn't make the Pats overconfident against the Bears. They did look awfully good last week, but "Da Bears!" have looked greatly improved on offense.

At least both teams will be prepared for the weather. Could you imaging a warm team there for Sunday?

Sunday: Widespread blowing snow and a chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 23. Wind chill values as low as -3. Very windy, with a north northwest wind 25 to 30 mph increasing to between 35 and 40 mph. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Looks like the best running game wins...

And the Pack? Indoors at Detroit...otherwise they might not even break 0F

I don't think they will, the Pats are the best team in the NFL and they showed it Monday night, Talk is cheap
