NHL Playoffs

That about covers it. Although, the Red Wings weren't the home team.

Thanks! I just saw that myself on the ESPN website. For some reason I thought they were, but I was wrong.

I cannot believe all of the home teams that lost Game 1. The NHL Playoffs are fantastic! By no means are those series over, but I'm still surprised the Capitals, the Penguins, the Sharks, the Red Wings, and the Devils all lost. Did I forget anyone else?

Caps-That was a surprising game with Ovechkin taking no shots.

Pens-Well yea another surprise.Fleury needs to step his game up if they want to win.

Sharks-Eh not really surprised they svck in the playoffs.

Devils-The Flyers won the reason series 5-1 and killed them in two of the games so no big surprise.

So only half of them lost and only half of that was a surprise.

Red Wings got the win but Howard still let 4 goals in, I hope the playoffs aren't getting to him...

Even I felt bad for him when they decided to interview him after the game, but then I remembered my team won and went on being happy for Craig Anderson. :P

I honestly might start to believe all the whining of my fellow Flyers fans.Plenty of them believe that the refs/NHL conspire against the Flyers. After this season it either that or the refs just plain svck.

Flyers the underdogs right?I don't see why anyone said that.Up 3-1 now and they have dominated the Devils so far in the series. The refs were terrible last night.8 penalties per side and probably half per side were not penalties.

The Penguins certainly looked impressive, although they tried to blow their lead there a couple of times. I mean, how many 5-on-3s are you willing to give a team? The Sens probably should have been a couple more, too.

Hope the B's make it past the Sabres, though I don't think they'll go any further than that.

Penguins look pretty tough.

That is quite surprising, which is why the NHL has the best playoffs of any sport. Hopefully my Wings can keep rolling, Howard is looking better.

I dunno. I think I'd prefer it if they eliminated one round -- make eight teams qualify rather than 16. It might make the regular season mean something. Teams with losing records really have no business being in the playoffs IMO.

I don't see how. int the Regular season the Flyers went 5-1 against them. The Devils have no offense outside of Parise and Broduer is no what he use to be.Here were each games scores.

W 5-2 Away
W 3-2 Home
L 4-1 Away
W 3-2 Home
W 3-2 Away

And Kovalchuk. Hawks should have gotten him. Maybe we'd have an offense in the playoffs.

Well they will have an opportunity to do that in the offseason as he will not put on a Devil uniform anymore.
