I think everyone has a deep respect for the original six. Except for Toronto...lol

At least Tampa has a few guys that were there the last time they won. Boston would be looking pretty grey if the same could be said for them.
In the end, i think Tampa would be easy for the Canucks to run over... Boston will just beat on them constantly, and even worse than seeing them lose to a hot goalie (more likely in Thomas than Roloson) would be seeing one of Boston's dirty players injure a Kelser or Luongo with a cheap shot.

Oh of course I'm kind of wondering when they will be made a minor league team.

The Canucks are an aggressive team as well though. I can see Torres all over that. Let's hope the Sedin sisters start heating things up this 3rd round. Kesler can't take the game himself. Especially if he gets injured. Were screwed then.

I'm really excited for Game 7 tonight. I hope it's a good one!

Sorry to change the subject: I'm probably one of the only people here who will care, but http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11132/1146117-100.stm.

First period was exactly like Games 1-3. Wings still mentally at their hotel, making horrible turnovers, little offensive prowess. If this ends like Games 1-3 the Wings will wake up in the 3rd, get within a goal only to fall short. I'm hoping it's more like every other game this series the Wings won where they were behind, yet dominant, and wound up winning.

Yeah it seems like Detroit was playing pretty sloppy in the first three games and then the tables turned. Sharks weren't just playing their game. I'm glad they didn't choke in this game.

Go Sharks!

Wow. On the edge of my seat right to the last second. Long faces in Detroit now...kinda disappointing 'cause it looked so hopeful.

Go Canucks !

Wife and I made sure to wear Wings jerseys (I wore my Lidstrom Winter Classic, she wore my old CCM Yzerman) watching this game, and sadly it wasn't luck this time. Damn superstition. Wings have some re-tooling to do over the offseason and I suspect picking up another defenseman, goalie, and big forward.

GO WINGS!

I don't root for teams in cities that do not have natural ice in the winter, so the choices here are obvious. Vancouver & Boston...how many games? I have no idea.

Oh, heck, why not? I've foregone the normal playoff pools, so I might as well toss an ill-conceived $0 gamble out on something...

Lightning in 6. San Jose in 5.

And in the Cup finals, I'll cheer for Tampa (mainly, for Roli) to win in 6.

Sharks are going to win. As long as they don't play like they did in those 3 losses against the red wings.
Obvious Sharks fan here.

Agreed, it looked like their offense was to much for the Bruins D to handle.

Wow I didn't know that. I though for sure he would have been ready for round 2. Geez I am worried his NHL carreer can be over really soon now. If not this concussion, the next one can do it. At least he won the cup on his young carreer if it is finished.

Wow, not that I like to see people suffer but from the standpoint of a FLyers fan and someone who has a great deal of hate for the Penguins and Crosby :celebration: :intergalactic: :foodndrink: :celebrate:

It is very troubling for him and the NHL. Since he still has some time before the next season, let's hope he can make a full recovery. It's scary because he hasn't been cleared to workout, which means no running, no weight lifting, no physical activity at all. It's not like he can exercise all he wants as long as he avoids contact. This is no physical exertion whatsoever. Like him or not, he is good for the game of hockey. Who would the Philly fans hate if he couldn't come back?
