Caps are down 3-0 first period against the B's. Mcquaid got in a nice fight. I always love it when he fights :P.

The Penguins take on Florida tonight. Let's see if they can do any better.

Tomorrow is against the Capitals. Anyone else watching HBO 24/7 Penguins/Capitals?

Go, Sharks.

Logan Couture > Taylor Hall.

Just kidding.

Sort of.

For any of you who may be watching HBO 24/7: are you as bothered as I am by Ovi's tramp stamps or Sid's goofy pr0n mustache?

I'm too disgusted by the fact that the Pens are getting another Winter Classic.I could of sworn there where more than 8 teams

So I guess I shouldn't mention that I have tickets to the game. They're crappy seats, but I'll be there, freezing my butt off.

I really would've liked to have seen the Winter Classic with Pens/ Flyers at Beaver Stadium (Penn State), but I guess having it 45 minutes from my house is so much better.

And Crosby's streak ends...

Next up, the Winter Classic. Let's hope the weather cooperates.

Agreed.

Also yeah Ovi's Tribals (I think they were tribals?) are a bit lame, especially where he has them. Love the series though its great to see Boudreau freak out. Lots of fun.

I love how every other word is the F - word! There's something about him that makes him almost likable - maybe it was the bright red sweat suit or the buffalo wing sauce on his face. I wouldn't want him as my coach, but he's fun to watch.

Winter Classic: Not sure when this game is going to be played. The NHL and NBC are really pushing for 1:00. I hope they don't force it and have multiple rain delays. I'd rather see it moved to tomorrow evening to be safe. I am heading down at 10:00 to tailgate unless I hear it has been moved. Go Pens!

EDIT: The game has been moved to 8PM. Hopefully, the rain will stop by then. It's going to be awesome under the lights at Heinz Field!

Bruins already scored 3 goals against buffalo in the first 5 minutes with two goals by defense men :P.

Rask is in the net so only god knows what will happen.

He hasn't exactly been a Vezina contender this year.

edit:I almost don't wanna switch to the winter classic.
Edit 2: And the refs are starting to steal the game for the bruins. Ference got tripped but they still got the goal and the ref [censored] skated away from ference as he went to plead his case and now they've got a [censored] penalty on savard. Ughhhh....

Cold, wet, and disappointed after the outcome of the Winter Classic. All in all, I did have a blast, and it was great to see Jordan Staal back. They wouldn't let the Pens and Caps shake hands at the end because things became so heated.

You could tell by the end that the Caps knew they won it so they did start acting like Douchebags starting [censored] with 0.6 seconds on the clock :P.

Bruins lost 6-7 in a shootout. How can you go from a 3-1 lead to a 4-2 to losing 6-6. I haven't seen the highlights yet but I know that at least one of those goals should of been disallowed because Ference clearly got tripped. Rask is having such a tough year and he seemed so promising :/.

I'm admittedly biased, but I couldn't agree more. You could see the Douchebaggery even from my lousy seats.

I really like Boston's style of play, and I try to catch them when they're on. Rask is haven't a rough time, but hopefully, things will get better for him when he gets the start.

Can my team never play the Boston Bruins again, please? How do you give up 4 goals with less than 4 minutes left in a game?

I couldn't believe what was happening either! I was about to just turn the TV off and Boston went crazy! They also beat ottawa 6-0 last night! I guess they finally realized that in hockey there's more than just one net :P. I'm joking. :ninja:

Boston has shown they can be a really good team when they want to be. Also, my Penguins have shown (on more than one occasion) they can be a really lousy team.

During the Pens/Bruins game, I was excited to see http://bruins.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8474749 for the Bruins. He went to high school around here, and he even played a few years at my college alma mater.

:ahhh:

The Kings season is collapsing around them.... They lost to Toronto!!

I wish I could actually watch their games, but unless they are playing Edmonton, Calgary or any Canadian team on HNIC I have to settle with highlights, small snippets on the NHL Network and getting score updates on my phone.

If Thomas plays like he did agaisnt the Flyers you have nothing to worry about, its too bad Boucher played worse.

A nice win last night against the Thrashers.Does anyone else find it funny that Andrew Ladd and Dustin B. are both having better seasons than Kane and Teows?Sure they have been hurt but bottom line is they are scoring more.
