Crosby is a phenomenal player. Ovechkin is a puckhog PoS :)

Have to disagree, his line mate Niklas Backstrom had 33 goals still.Ovechkin has the puck so much because they just give it to him and let him do what he does best.

I know, I just like rubbing it in every now and then :P

I use to despise Sid because of his attitude the first two years in the league. But he's gotten a lot better with that though every now and then, when things are going tough for him (like last years playoffs) and he's getting shut down completely, he reverts to his old whining self.

He is a better player then Ovie in my eyes simply because he's worked on every aspect of his game. Don't count on Ovie to do too much defensively but Sid you can rely on to win faceoffs at a high percent, he back checks and knows how to play both ends of the ice. I'm not quite sure if Ovie even knows where he is supposed to be in the defensive end.

I still call BS on that goal. Nice yes but lets see him do it again.

Go Leafs Go!

They are gonna win the CUp apparently because of their great pre-season. They beat the Red Wings after all....

I don't need to watch a video on how good Ovie is. I know how good he is, all I'm saying is that if he had a 2 on 0 or 2 on 1 he'd be the one to shoot. Even if the other guy was Kovalchuk or Stamkos hypothetically speaking.

I really don't like Crosby, but I think he's good for the sport. Hockey needs guys like Crosby and Ovechkin. I'm watching Minnesota and Carolina right now. Just a few more hours and the puck drops for the Stars. I'm really hoping we can turn things around this season, despite the fact that Nieuwendyk is handcuffed financially. The success will rely upon two things really; how well Lehtonen can mind the net and how well our defense plays. Morrow and Ribero have to bounce back as well, but it won't matter much if other teams can just knock in goals at will.

So not a bad start beating the Pens in their new stadium. Briere scored the first ever goal there.Bobrovsky was a brick wall, had 29 saves and only let in 2 which one was luck as his skate broke. Flyers came out shaky but Lavy being a good coach got their act together. All of this was done without a top 10 defender in Pronger.

Did anyone see that goal by Eberle, amazing stuff?

My Penguins are off to a horrible start! On a positive note, I went to the second game in the new arena. The place is beautiful! Unfortunately, the Pens lost.

Ain't that a shame, you should of been there for the first game I rather liked it.

Nice to see the Philly fans have the sense to cheer Gagne on in his return to Philly.I hope he retires a Flyer, he deserves to.

So the Stars are beating up on the Red Wings pretty well. Morrow is off to a great start. 4 goals in his first three games, and the third game isn't even over yet.

I would've loved to have gone to the very first game even if they did lose to your Flyers.

I'm not very optimistic about tonight's game versus the Flyers. The Penguins better get their ... um ... crap together soon, or it's going to be a long season.

Well if their Goal tending pattern continues Bobo should be starting again.Hopefully he stonewalls the Pens again.

Go Pens! I think there might be a goalie controversy brewing here in Pittsburgh.

Looks that way, the Flyers have the same thing going on.What an ugly game, you can't even blame Bobo when they continue to take double digit penalty minutes every game.

Very, very true...

The Penguins power play is usually so awful. With that much talent on the ice, it should be SO much better. I think there may be too many egos or maybe it's that players not named Crosby or Malkin feel the need to pass to one of those two players instead of shooting it themselves. I cannot tell you the number of times this year a player has tried to force the puck to Crosby or Malkin only to have it taken away.

With all of that being said, I still think Philly might be the better team. For some reason Pittsburgh has dominated the Flyers at their home, and I'm pretty sure Philly has been dominant here in Pittsburgh.

Just to illustrate my point, the Flyers took it to the Penguins the other night.

Flyers have really been on a roll lately.4 wins in a row and the team looks like it has found its chemistry.

Must be nice... The Penguins are just trying to stay afloat.

I feel really bad for Jordan Staal: the day before he was supposed to come back and play, he broke his hand in practice. Now, he's out another 6 weeks or so.

Can't say I feel bad for your Pens and I was surprised to see Crosby fight.

Since Crosby seems to be the only one really scoring any goals on the team, it was really stupid for him to be fighting. The last thing they need is for him to break a hand.

I'd like to see this team stop their downward spiral.
