It not like the Kings don't have a good if not better second option.
In Bernier? That's what I was thinking last year as well, but watching him in some games this and last year I realized he is still young (so is Quick for that matter
) and has a ways to go I think, before he can be reckoned in the same league as Quick to challenge him as a starter. The problem for both of them is consistency but so far this year, they've both been pretty solid
Kopitar is one of the most under-rated offensive players in the league IMO. Possibly because L.A. doesn't get the attention that a market like the Leafs or the Flames gets, but he is not consistent enough either. However, if he can improve his defensive play (he already has in leaps and bounds over last year) then I'd be happy with him becoming a Datsyuk-like forward. Doesn't lead the league in scoring, but gets 80+ points but knows how to play both ends of the ice
Great shoot-out man though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btl-PxRwRu0. Does it again here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APHqyQuW09w And then this one (beautifully smooth hands here): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVIXS1wMkzo&feature=related ---> gotta love the music in the last one...
:D
I was randomly watching Kopitar vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8sgVJx901c&feature=related makes me physically sick to my stomach after having this happen to me
---> random vid, I know
