Nice Beta guys!

Brink would have been great if the movement was smoother, the weapons did more damage, and the game didn't lag. The objectives, classes, maps, M.A.R.T. (no 'S'), and customization all seemed pretty good. Unfortunately clunky movement, low bullet damage, and lag is a miserable combination in any game.

The lag is something they are working and, as I understand it, there should be an improvement sometime during the week through a patch.

Personally I think the movement is very smooth, but it is a bit of a learning curve. I have found that with a bit of practice the movement can become surprisingly smooth. I play a lot with a light body type and am getting better at hopping over obstacles without loosing any speed. It's great fun to try and master specific jumps so they become super smooth.

As for the bullet damage. That was an intentional choice by the developers. I don't know if I like it either. I have always preferred the amount of damage in Bad Company 2, although some weapons were a little over the top. In this game I find that it does make a bigger difference if shots are placed well. Sometimes I can empty an entire clip on a heavy and do very little damage, while at other times I get the same heavy with only a few well placed bullets.

i haven't been this disappointed in a development company since they screwed up the multiplayer going from "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory" to "Splinter Cell: Double Agent"

I think TwoBROkedLegs said it best in his post above.
I just don't want to play an online game with hard-as-nails bots. I can play any single player for that.

At the end of the day, it's nothing more than a good concept, badly executed and rushed out the door half-finished.
As I said, I'm sick of being charged for unfinished betas so I've traded it in. I hope all you blinkered fan boys continue your enjoyment of this game. You can [censored] and moan about cod and battlefield all you want, but you can't take away the fact that those games were at least FINISHED when released. Lots of bugs yes, but they had enough going for them that people were prepared to wait.

The last game I'll ever buy from these jokers.

Amen.
Though I didn't trade mine in... I didn't know about the Noire deal. D:
