Wait, since when has 'fat' and 'ugly' become synonomous... Eh Either way, I did make a fat Khajiit Nightblade myself and he looks rather pirate-like with how his hair is (With the beads) an earring and the way his overall shape is. He's freaking awesome! And witht he way his face is, he looks rather nice, like that charming, fun guy you'd meet in a bar paying for the rounds after a recent success!

Also: I made a chubby khajiit mage. I mean, she is an alchemist/cook who 'taste tests' everything and her combat capabilities are 'wave her hand' why would she not have some extra bits in her hips and belly? And she also has a cute rounded kitty-face, so wee.

Anyways, I have not really seen anything wrong with giving the characters a fat look, and I have fiddled around and found 'old' and 'ugly' to be able to work around well if you work the character creator a bit. Just takes some more work. Focus on the feature placement (Nose, Mouth, eyes) as well as the brow-skew. If you can get a bit of an asymmetrical look, you can get some people recoiling.

Most people that make ugly/fat character use them for trolling, not for roleplay or preference purpose

Most people that make character really super small is to get an edge in pvp.

You can make fat characters. Not American fat, but fat.

an argument i could find about at least the height of a character, and to some extent their looks, would be the elder scrolls lore (which i personally don't know a lot about) and that they are specific races-

as such, their character-builder options would be close to the regular height/shortness of the race they are, same goes for facial features and such,

-just to argument in favor of the developers-
