Nick Valentine Romance?

Post » Sun Dec 06, 2015 1:02 am

I'd like to get a show of hands here. Who does or does not want an option for Nick Valentine to be romanceable in a future DLC?

(EDIT: Not an entire DLC dedicated to a romance, that would admittedly be a huge waste considering all the other things people want, but if they included it as part of a DLC that might be nice.)

I'm totally rooting for it, which is part of the reason I set up this poll/discussion to begin with. Going on my limited knowledge of human biology and the way synths like Nick were programmed, it seems likely to me that he may be asixual, but that doesn't necessarily rule out the possibility of a platonic romance. What're your thoughts?

Waste of a DLC! Nope I'd like to see entire new areas and factions, and a bunch of quests for each of my 4 DLC.

Just for the record, I don't mean a DLC that just makes Nick romanceable and nothing else, I mean have that be just a small part of a DLC. But if you've got other reasons for not wanting that at all, I'll totally hear 'em out.

Honestly I ship him with his assistant Ellie, but I think he'd be a really popular romance. Everyone wants a hot robot lover.

I don't think G2's and 2.5's have those particular parts...

The G3's that are romance-able are as biologically human as it gets.

I think he and the assistant is involved, or atleast close to be. So while i wouldn't mind him beeing available for romance, i just accept that he was not and we do not need to waste a DLC on it. You can't always get what you want.

Yeah, I'd assume they don't have that anatomy, but there're definitely workarounds, assuming it needs to be a non-platonic romance.

I think it'll be more fun to get him hitched with his secretary.

Well, if it worked for Fisto, why not a synth too?

Or is that too far out of bounds for Beth?

Just remember, Synths are people too. They need companionship too.

Sure. I can't imagine anybody not wanting more options in a roleplaying game.

To reiterate an earlier reply, not necessarily an entire DLC, but maybe part of one. Bethesda has said their next Fallout 4 DLC will be based on fan feedback, and I'd seen people on other sites talking about it, so I figured I might as well take the suggestion to a forum?

Well there are other Synth romances. And FISTO isn't a romance, its a fist session with a protectron, yay *not really*.

Yeah, fair enough. I wouldn't be enraged if they didn't include it; I don't really expect them to at all, but it's definitely worth a shot!

I subscribe to the notion of every NPC in the game having the potential to be romanced and become a follower.

200 years in the future, free will and sixuality becomes irrelevant so long as the one your with is wearing a vault suit.

Romancing a synth reminds me of Fisto :bolt: Man did that Garret twin get what he wanted.

I don't think Nick would want a romance with us. I like that.
