Hi apoligies for asking a slightly off topic question but regarding nif importing into blender....
was wondering if there was an easyish way of once importing a model which consists of say one tristrip group (a cube for example) of splitting it up into 6 seperate tristrips like the sides of the cube using an edge/face script in blender ? probably isnt but just thought i would ask

(looking to do more destructible architecture ala skykappa)

Artisten and I produced a Blender/Nifskope/GIMP/FOMM/GECK tutorial that should help you out. It contains instructions on how to setup Blender and import models, some basics on using Blender, and the export process. Its not "simple", but its very possible. You would need to import the cube, break it up into 6 pieces (separating each side into it's own object), and then exporting it. The tutorial link is in my sig.

Luck,
