Nifskope version

Post » Thu Jul 25, 2013 11:34 pm

Just had to clean install Windows - I had backed up all my stuff so that's good - however I'm slowly rebuilding my program library and am unsure if the most recent version of Nikskope is compatible with Morrowind or whether it is too advanced

I have an older version saved that I can install but am wondering if the latest is more useful?

Apart from dragging and dropping textures I use Nifskope for importing exporting obj. and adding new maps normally glow

Is there any active modder using nifskope that can advise on what version to use please

NifSkope is pretty darn useful, but has its limitations.-)

I personally use version 1.0.22; I have the least amount of problems with it, but all versions have queer quirks in them.

I also use 1.0.22. iirc, it's the last version that doesn't require Pyffi. The newer versions have more features, but the program just feels too heavy for me.

*shrugs* I use 1.1.3 (latest) and have not had any issues with it.
