"Night Person" auto night vision issue

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 9:16 pm

Hey guys, so sorry to have made an account just to ask this, I know how annoying that is but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere and outside of the devs themselves you guys probably know this game better than anyone.

I'm on the xbox one and I just got the night person rank 2 perk which automatically gives me night vision. I didn't realize that this meant it would be on anytime I was sneaking absolutely anywhere after 6pm.

Sneaking is actually how I get around in the game most the time and my stats and perks have been stacked for that kind of play but the night vision being on in bright rooms is actually physically hurting my eyes.

So long winded explanation out of the way, does anyone know how to deactivate it or even get rid of the perk completely (if necessary) on the Xbox One? There are quite a few hours between me getting the perk and to the point when I realized this was going to be a major issue.

Thanks, and sorry again for invading!

I haven't got the Night person perk yet, but I'm having similar issues with stealth armor. Traveling about during the day is awful because everything is so bright! I can't even look at/use my pipboy while in sneaking mode because due to the brightness its non legible. I had a feeling this would happen when I finally get round to taking the Night person perk, which is why I left it. The same was true with the stealth suit in F3. I hope there is a solution because it would be nice not to be blinded when playing the game. Maybe tinker with the monitor/tv controls if it helps.

On xbox probably the only way to remove it is to load a save before you took it.

I would also post this in the Xbox section of these forums....or ask one of the moderators to move this there.

Thanks for the responses, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I'm glad, if nothing else, people can at least be warned of this issue. I'll play with my tv a but and hopefully that will help. Is it only an issue in the Xbox? I'll have this moved if it is, I haven't played it on any other platform.
