I traveled to Rorikstead and there's a marker over Ennis's head whilst he's working in the field. When I talk to him the only dialogue option is about the the staff. The even stranger thing is that there's a goat with him which I assume is the goat I'm supposed to find, so it's like I finished the quest but the quest marker in Rorikstead won't go away. Is this some sort of glitch or did I do something in the wrong order?
