So, basically I can't get ANY tx.stars, whatever the texture origin, to display without alpha I'm using SWG skies IV night mesh, I even tried using the vanilla mesh instead, dead end.
Seems tx.stars always go ~50% transparent for me, I inspected my MGE screenshot to find out that any white point existing in the .dds inevitably becomes medium grey ingame. I tried to look at the NIFs, morrowind.ini, double checked .dds etc. I can't find anywhere who the hell is telling this texture to become 50% opaque. I also have the very same issue with any moons and any constellations textures, everything is 50% transparent ingame :/
I'm running out of options... Where could I look to solve this ?
