Night of the Dead-OOC

Yeah, I saw your thing and found it ironic.. That's why I mentioned it.
And I doubt you know him, that's like saying every Australian knows each other... Which we don't. There ARE 26 million of us y'know.

Rust City's a bit different in that regard, they're more like.. Well.. Now in their idealogy. But their weaponry stays the same, except they do like plasma/laser tech more than conventional.. Firearms.. :P

Are you trying to allude to the fact that my character has a mechanical arm? If so, I WILL take no action against you for it.

Yeah, Fallout has a retro culture, but advanced technology. I like it like that though, perfect mix. As far as space travel, the thing is that space contains a lot of radiation and other anomalies, so even if America or the Soviets had the technology, which I'm sure they did, I don't think they would be willing to make that jump.

I meant before the bombs dropped. But it was funny though. Space radiation ain't the same. We're talking about that Andromida Strain radiation, I'm talking UBER SUPER MUTANT type stuff out there. But listen to me ramble...

So how far into the RP until the zombies come,
also if they happen to bite someone or kill someone what happens.

CONFOUNDIT!

I missed the hater arguement. But just to throw in my opinions, Mouse's CS was a little over the top with the amount of weapons he has, and the humvee is a little much. Afterall, where do you find the diesel fuel for it anyways? Water is hard enough in the Wasteland.

I'd also like to agree with the idea that not everyone carries their guns around all the time, with the exception of those who have a peronal connection to it (family heirloom, etc.).

And to top it all off, (though it's a little late), the reason we don't see modern-age weapons in any of our beloved Fallout games is because THEY DO NOT EXIST. The timeline for the Fallout universe follows the Earth's timeline exactly up until the 1950s. In the 1950s, the Fallout timeline begins to veer away from our own, and takes a whole different course than our own. By the time the bombs fell, you can be sure that in the Fallout universe, they hadn't developed weapons exactly like our own. It's always bugged me that people still insist on flaunting their knowledge of modern weaponry in their CS, even when they clearly don't exist in Fallout.

Hope you enjoyed my little speech. GOODNIGHT!

Uuuhhh

I don't like the Fallout weaponry timeline. So I change it. See, I don't like the whole thing about the weaponry and the timeline difference, cause I really don't give.

Heh, already one post in and No-name(a.k.a. icouldntthinkofaname) finds themselves a lovely dame two houses down the street.

I guess I shouldn't be the one to talk, since my character kinda pulled off something that no one's been able to do since 2077 :whistling:

Yeah, no name, what did you mean by that post "he saw a mutant." I'm not a mutant. Who were you talking about, and who's Anthony?

The mutant is Anthony, your not the mutant.

Anthony will be explained in the RP.

Question for one: Josh gro-Graz?

If the FEV was released into the marketplace, then what happens to the Pre-War lab facility? Since my character seems to be the only one in the facility at the moment, could I possibly take care of what happens during the initial stages of the outbreak in the lab complex? I have a few ideas to bounce off you, so if you'd be so kind as to tell me if I could manage it or not.

All of the scientists will evacuate the lab but you can handle the rest.

I hope I'm not being a pest with my ideas, but do you mind if I give you my idea on what should happen inside the complex? I have a feeling that I could make the story much more interesting, permitting that you'd allow me.

I'd recommended waiting for Francois Lachon. I think its best he makes the decision, I am after all just the co-gm.

Alright, I'll send you both the idea. That way you can know what's happening, and if you have any serious problems with it then you can put in your perspective.

Then we'll wait for Francois and see what he thinks.
