that style of hair didn't even exist til like 2004.

Saying that, look at some of the styles in Fallout 3, yeah there's the 1950's style cuts but the punk ones would've only been introduced around the mid to late 70's.

Those are punk. Punk has been around a long while. Things in the Fallout universe only go as far to the 70's, because the 50's style stayed around for a long time. The hair he showed was an emo style haircut, which as said, wasn't introduced until around 2004.

Pfft, Death Note pic. Also, it's probably best to only use weapons from the Fallout universe or at least anything up to the 70's. The setting style is shaped like the 50's, so you wouldn't have hair like that or an M4. M4's weren't created then, and that style of hair didn't even exist til like 2004.

I think its the OP's choice of what I can and can't have. So don't get your panties in a bunch. And you say, "Pfft, Death Note pic." like you think your to cool for it, which your obviously not, because i'm sure you've seen it if you know anything about it. And just because that style wasn't as common, doesn't mean it didn't exist. Sorry if i'm sounding like an ass, but knitpickers get on my nerves.

Well... Using your own words, and I quote

Punk style was introduced in mid to late 70's... Either way, I sorta agree with the weapon statement for lore sakes but in RPs it doesn't really matter about the hair does it? :P

Anyways, I agree with Cutie, does it really matter? My character's appearance, and/or weapon, will not effect you in any way (Unless I decide to shoot you...(Joke)), so how about you just worry about your own character?

P.S. Dragonred, you should start closing this off soon, unless you want a butt-load of people filling up the RP uber-fast.

Name: Cain Abel

Age: 17

Race: Human, Caucasian

Gender: Male

Appearance: 6'5, Hunched back so appears shorter, long brown hair pulled into a ponytail. Green eyes, has a lithe body, pale skin, looks much older than he is from all the hardships he has faced. Face is dirty and so is a body, rarely has a chance to wash himself.

Weapons: 3x Molotov Cocktails, Splitting Maul

Armor/Clothing: Black torn up hoodie, a grimy white t-shirt, tattered blue jeans, worn out sneakers, Sling made of leather belts.

Misc: Empty whiskey bottle, Turpentine, Handkerchief, Lighter

Personality: Calm, Absent Minded, Tries to be friendly, the fact that he lives on the street, hardly goes out in the day, stutters, and smells like a sewer doesn't help this.

Bio: His father was history fanatic, collecting items and restoring them to previous splendor. Cain didn't like his dad, he often got drunk and beat him. during one of his rages he ended up killing his mother, beat her to death. Cain grabbed the splitting maul and brought it down upon his neck, careful not to go to the bone. His face remained stoic while during this, he broke a window, took some valuables and lit the house on fire. He found he was entranced by the flames and just wanted to sit there and watched. He was fourteen at the time, he spent the next three years on the run, he knows the streets and alleys like the back of his hand. He sleeps most of the day, and goes stealing in the night. He's a pyromaniac and often plays with fire. He's made a sling for the maul, but hides it in the day, too suspicious, don't want people like Vince noticing.

I have no quarrels with the hairstyle, it is just with the weapon, it seems a bit high powered especially for a town that has hardly any weapons left.

It's more so a suggestion. By all means ask the OP and see what he says. I'm just voicing my opinion.

Another thing I forgot to mention on the subject of weapons within the timeline. In Fallout 2 (and possible 1) I'm positive there were P90's and Desert Eagles. In Fallout Tactics, depending on whether that's seen as canon or not, theres a ton of modern weapons. Including something with a striking resemblence to and M4. Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore :P This isn't the lore section after all.

And with that... I bid you people good night... or morning. As it is 06:16 am here :P

Haha, goodnight then.

I'm hoping we'll be starting the RP soon. We have alot of people. Which may or may not be good. Maybe if someone doesn't play in a while, they get mobbed by the ferals, and die. :P

I don't know how many you want, but where up to eleven(counting ghouls second character.) I don't know about other people, but when I'm in an Rp with a lot of people, it generally doesn't go well. Some people post fast others post slow and they end up getting lost because of the fast posters, they don't want get on six hours later and see six pages of post.

Agreed. People usually post one liners just to catch up and before you know it everyone is just to keep up.

Tactics isn't really considered cannon, but in a post apocalyptic wasteland anythings possible, right?

I'm not the OP but I seriously think people should stop joining, twelve people is enough, if anyone has a char sheet, you should hold off until Dragon gets on, he may even have to cut people as it is. This is going to be conflicting, I already know it.

Nuts...I saw this topic yesterday, and was thinking of joining...about bringing some Enclave presence in with my character. I still could, but I wouldn't barge in if it's packed already.
