Nightingale Armour

Not only did Bethesda apparently think it satisfactory to leave the armour looking terrible on two of the races, it's armour designed for thief-types and those two represent two thirds of the races specialised in thievery! Very disappointed after hearing about how cool the armour is.

Odd.

Last I checked there weren't any beast races in the Thieves' Guild. Seems their 2/3 representation is rather.....

Lacking.

What's the problem with the armor? On which races? I'm a khajiit and I got it, but never really wore it.

I was just referring to the game mechanics. Khajiit, Argonian and Bosmer are the races with the most thiefy starting skills. The beast races even more than the wood elf as they have Sneak and Lockpick as the +10 skills respectively.

Khajiit and Argonian have the problem. Tails clip through the armour's cape and the mask that replaces your face doesn't account for the different shape of beast heads.

Most armor in the he game that covers your face doesn’t make sense if you’re an Argonian, the Nightingale armor is the worst when it comes to this. So I agree with you 100%. The tail sticking through the cape doesn’t bother me as much as the head morphing to fit the mask does. The enchantments on it aren’t all that bad tho, it’s a leveled item so mine may be different than yours.
My stats read as this

Armor (Flawless)-83 Armor with an increase in stamina by 30 and an increase resistance to frost by 30%

Boots-18 armor with a muffled effect

Gloves(Flawless)-29 Armor with 20% lockpicking buff and 20% damage buff for one handed attacks

Hood(Flawless)-38 Armor rating with 15% less to cast Illusion

Ignoring the flaws with the hood and cape I really enjoy this armor, it looks VERY cool and actually has some enchants that I enjoy. I could do without the hood’s enchant and that’s about it. Everything else I find rather nice to have.

Worst thing is that it's levelled, levelled gear is so stupid. Means if you want to play as a stealthy thief you should leave the thiefs guild untill last, good thinking bethesda.
