Nights Too Dark with ENB

Post » Sat Oct 24, 2015 9:35 pm

I'm using the RealVision ENB and it is amazing. Overall, I'm super pleased with the visuals in my game.

But I'm having a problem with nights. Night is REALLY dark. Like, hard to see a few feet in front of you dark. I'm happy with the lighting levels inside, and dark dungeons, etc. and the daytime is gorgeous - but it is really weird to look up and see two full moons not providing enough illumination to see the wall of the building I'm standing next too.

Are there any mods or adjustments I can make to increase the light level during the night, outside only?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Press [Shift + Enter] in game and that will open up your ENB menu. on the right side of the dialog you should see ENB effects. In there, there is a setting that controls RGB lighting during different times of the day. Play with the night time settings until you get something you like. There's a few numbers like black levels, black falloff, white levels, gamma, brightness and saturation at night.

Play around with them!

Thanks! It's my first time using an ENB - just got a monster rig and I'm making Skyrim pretty. Coming back to Skyrim after a couple of years, and I'm amazed at how many mods are editable from within the game itself now.

Yeah its pretty crazy. SKY UI empowers a lot of mod developers to create their own menus within the game itself making it much easier for the end-user. Collaboration will keep our Skyrim modding community strong – just like Morrowind and Oblivion's modding communities.
