In real life the only mammals that lay eggs are the monotremes (Platypus and echidna). I always wondered if the nightstalkers had a 4 chambered heart or a 3 chambered heart (warm and cold blooded respectively)

Stop trying to apply science to a rattlesnake dog, you will fail.

I'm going right over the the "I'm gonna whine and cry if I don't immediately get what I want in my DLC" threads and ask for the Legendary Platypus. Epic.

OWB is inferred to explain some of the wastelands mutants, such as the Nightstalker, and maybe, just for you, they will reveal to us that a Nightstalker is a Rattlsnake-Coyote-Platypus mix!

Be careful what you wish for! Those things have some nasty, nasty poison in the smallish RL ones. Would hate to see an FEV Platypus.

Yep the venom is in spurs located on the back legs, only the males have them, the venom is strong enough to kill dog sized animals but human are usually left alive but in severe pain.

Trying to picture how they got together in the first place... I can't really picture a male coyote being able to, umm.... you know... with a rattlesnake. If actually attempted, you'd have a dead, split-open snake and a coyote with fang-marks on its willy.

A male snake and a female coyote, on the other hand... hmmm. Maybe it was just real cold out , and the snake found the coyote asleep in a cave, and wanted to find someplace cozy and warm to take a nap... snake is having real nice dream about female rattler, coyote wakes up, startles the j*** out of the snake, which then promptly exits, stage left.

There you have it. Darwin on steroids. Kinda disgusting, tho....
