Nirnroot

Sinderion's potions are prized possessions, never to be used, they go with the 399, the lava whiskey, the skooma, the philtres of frostward and the Cyrodiilic brandy. The barrel outside the Bruma house bedroom was destined for this collection.

I collected Nirnroot, completed the quest, but was disappointed, so I ended up with my next character just collecting Nirnroot and saving them and never doing the quest. I didn't think that the potions were worth it.

I usually turn in the first one or two parts, but I always end up using them for poisons (with mod added ingredients). Plus I use a mod that makes them regrow. If I happen to be in Skingrad and have enough to turn in a segment, then sure.

And while the Elixir of Exploration may be better than vanilla with OOO (I run FCOM), they're still pretty craptacular.

On the other hand, Sinderion is a pretty good source for rarer ingredients, especially the toxic kind, so he's not a waste of space or anything.

Sinderion is almost my primary source for money. His exteremly high dispostion combined with his extremely low mercantile skill makes him the best trader for any alchemist. Just buy some apples and bread loves, spam fatigue potions and sell them to Sinderion.

I always liked warrior or Battlemage characters and thought the potions were great but I always got sidetracked before I could find the last 40 I needed I got the first 10 the second 20 and the third 30 but never the last 40.

Arch-Mage Sabarel is determined that when she is not exploring Aylied Ruins she is going to help Sinderlion find every last sample of Nirnroot that is possible to be found. If that means exploring the coasts for hundred of hours she will do it. Euisa however can not be bothered with such a thing, she would rather hold a fine blade in her hand then a rare herb.
