Smits Vectov

"I think I’m going to get some shut eye, though that suit you’re wearing looks like something I could use for working on the vault. If you have a pair left over just throw it in my locker down here. I asked, then leaving the room, rubbing my head. “What the hell is going on?” I left for my room.

Docter:

I looked in the window in digest humans, people that once cared for each other, friends and family driven into madness. Ripping up human remains in rage killing themselves. A groan was let out. I turned around the other test subject was coming alive I walked over. Studying him he looked back up at me in confusion. "Hello are you all right?" I asked.

He looked at me blankly, he eyes then went red muscles tensed he roared. "Another fail." Damn I walked up and injected with a substance him he passed out. Stripping his suit I threw him into the contanmeant cell. "How much innocent lives is enough Overseer we are getting nowhere with these test's and now soon animals. That our vault was sworn to protect!" I muttered then typed in my report on the computer.

Ares Warren

Ares stayed up in the room with Michael for a large portion of the night. He had explained to Ares a good and formidable plan that would hopefully end in success.

The plan focused around Ares infiltrating the room that no one was aloud in. The plan was simple. When the gaurds switch at six o'clock Michael will tell them that there are several thugs down in the lower levels pestering the citizens. The gaurds will have no choice but to go with him and check out the situation, while Ares heads into the room and takes pictures. Ares will take the pictures with a small camera Michael had somehow smuggled in. It sounded like a sound plan, but there was one more problem to be worked out. The voice lock.

Along with the standard locking mechanism that Ares could easily bypass by using his security card, a unique voice activated lock still had to be cracked. This is where the disc came in. It was basically a recording of the overseer's voice, crystal clear. The only problem was that the disc had to be hacked into, and this was not an easy job for Nariko.

"How's it going with that disc, Nariko?"

OOC: I can change anything...

"Well it hasn't exploded yet, so I'm past phase one. This is surprisingly easy to do, for some reason." Nariko replied. "It would be easier if I could see better."

Akira looked up from the balloons she was blowing and said, "Speaking of which. Instead of a large black shape, I now see a large light shape."

"Why... the balloons?" Nariko asked.

"Victory balloons."

Smits Vectov

Tossing and turning I could not sleep. "I think I will visit the reactor again." I flicked the door switch and wondered down the halls, while walking I saw other people making small talk and others doing their duties. POP! I looked down at what was left of a balloon. "Looks like someone is having a little party." I continued walking scratching my head until I felt the sting on the scar.

Flicking the switch the door opened and I wondered into the reactor room the head technician was still there doing some work on a terminal. I was planning to scare the hell out of him when.

CLANK

A flask fell.

Matt Shepard

“Hmm I was only given one suit but there’s probably instructions on how to make them on one of terminals" Matt replied

Once Vectov had left, matt walked over to a nearby terminal, turning it on matt began to read five messages left of on it from him

The first three messages were about vault protocols and a welcome message form the overseer, the next one was a maintenance request, “leaking pipe on floor 4” and the last message called “engineers jumpsuit design”

But before matt could open it, CLANK

Matt turned around to see a flask ad fallen on floor and Vectov was there, it appeared as if he was trying to sneak up on matt...

“You bloody idiot” Matt shouted whlist slapping Vectov on back of his head

“ Your lucky I left my gun in my room or I probably would have shot you! Now either go and fix the leaky pipe on floor 4 or [censored] off and go to sleep, I’m going to see the overseer. ” Matt said as he walked out of room…

OOC: I’m not sure were is the overseer right now (bedroom?), so you can have Matt walk into room he’s in at the end of your next overseer post if you like

OOC: I doubt radroaches exist yet...

"Hey you two little girls, stop messing around in the reactor room. Only authorized visitors are allowed here, and one of you don't look like it. I can have you arrested you know, so scram!"
Satisfied with his response, Rango unholstered his revolver, motioning to leave or else.

OCC: Its all right Just pre-tend a period of time has gone by instead of a few day's maybe 3-4 weeks month. So RadRoaches are ok.

Overseer:

I was watching my security cam terminal examining my test subject, Smits Vectov. He was looking at the ground in confusion thinking the head technician yelled at him but he seemed to ignore it. Later on the head technician left the room.

Bang, bang, bang. "Enter" I said. The door opened and the Head Technician wondered in. "What do you want?" I demanded.

Ooc: it could be a vault experiment? Or he could off made it up

Matt shepherd

Leaving the reactor room, Matt took and evaluator up to the second floor and walked to overseer’s room and knocked on door, followed by the overseer saying, “enter”

Entering the room the overseer asked, “What do you want”

“It’s about my assistant Vectov, the man is compete idiot”

“ as well as trying to scare me, he knows nothing about vault technology, hell he would probably blow up the vault if I hadn’t been watching in!”

Smits Vectov

"But I don’t remember ever drinking..." I thought ignoring the head technician yelling as he walked off. I kept looking at the flask on the floor. "The leak!" I grabbed my tool kit and stormed to the leaking pipe. I steady stream of water was coming from a hole in the pipe; I turned a valve and stopped the water. Grabbing some scrap metal from my kit I patched it up. "Good as new I muttered".

Meanwhile at the overseer Office.

It’s about my assistant Vectov, the man is compete idiot”

“ As well as trying to scare me, he knows nothing about vault technology, hell he would probably blow up the vault if I hadn’t been watching in!” Said Matt shepherd.

"A man can’t learn overnight to become something that he never was, give him time he will learn,” I said. Look I pointed over at monitors showing Smits Vectov who successfully repaired the pipe. "He did the job did he not.” I said. As The Head Technician was looking at the monitors I initiated subject 65 purge. "Time to see if the experiment was a success." I glanced at the monitors Smits Victov was standing in place not moving. On my pip-boy I issued an order. Sabotage the Vault water pipe, Victor walked over to the water control and doubled the water pressure, right away I could here the groans or the pipe. It busted hundreds of gallons came rushing out and swept Victor of his feet. I shut down the purge.

"Well maybe you where right I will be sure to deal with him in the utmost quickest way. I said.

Now go repair that pipe before you flood the vault or you will join the others! I yelled.
LEAVE!

"Nariko! Theres something wrong with the water." Akira shouted from the small room they had made into a kitchen. The room had originally been used for cleaning out small minerals.

"What?" Nariko asked.
He stood up from the computer and walked into the room.
The water had stopped running except for a small drip.

"Well, when the faucet in our old house stopped running, you could just move it around or-" In the middle of looking at it, the tap head blew off and nearly hit him in the face.
Water blew through it, knocking Nariko off his feet.

"Nariko? Nariko, what's happening?" His sister asked from the corner of the room.

Nariko stood himself up with the wall and quickly dove under the sink to turn off the water.
"Damn vault! We're put in the bowels where it constantly smells like some unknown cephalopod. And now this place is falling apart." He said as he pulled the water valve to a close.

"Are you alright?" Akira asked, not sure what to do.

"Ya, I don't think there were any damages..." He stopped when he looked into the living room to see Subject 42 on the ground and bleeding from the head.

Matt Shepard

Why is he monitoring Vectov? Bet I could alter,which each Monitor does... Matt though to himself…


Then as matt glanced at the overseer tap his Pipboy, Vectov suddenly just walked over to the water control and doubled the water pressure, shorty after it busted, hundreds of gallons came rushing out and swept Victor of his feet.

What’s he doing on his pipboy

“You see I told you he a bloody idiot” Matt said


"Well maybe you where right I will be sure to deal with him in the utmost quickest way, Now go repair that pipe before you flood the vault or you will join the others! LEAVE! ”

“others” matt said to himself and he walked out of overseers room and towards the 4 floor Evaluator

reaching floor four matt walked into living room to se vectov lying on the floor bleeding and one or two men nearby who had turned off the water vaule

“Thank you, for fixing the value ” matt said to guy “ this bloodly idot was only meant to repair it , yet he almost [censored] floods the vault? “ Matt said as he looked down at vectov, who was unconscious

“can you help me take him doctor , I want to know whats wrong with this bloody idot before I make him do anything else” Matt said as he began lifting Vetov


ooc: the person is Galen, i wasn;t sure if the other guy "nariko" was with him so i said one or two people

"Sure, he can come with me." Micheal said.
He had a bandage wrapped around his head now, which seemed to have stopped most of the bleeding.

"In fact, you're just the man I was wanting to talk to." He nodded back at Nariko who walked down a stairway to his part of the living quarters.

OOC: Your turn. Maybe something to do with the cameras?

Half way back to his room, his pip boy began buzzing.
It was a call from the doctor.
"Nariko, I need you to come quickly. Somethings happened."

Ares Warren

"Hello Zeek." said Ares. It was a sticky situation. Zeek and his two minions, Ares had learned their names to be Huck and Finn, had spotted Ares leaving the room owned by Nariko. They had approached, eying Ares with suspicion.

"Hello, Mr. Warren." said Zeek, in his ghostly voice. "Might I ask what you were doing in this citizens room?"

Ares thought, and thought fast. "Well the owner, Nariko, had asked I patrol around here a little once I got of my shift due to some of the lowlifes pestering him. I couldn't say no."

Zeek took of his helmet, and for the first time Ares saw the mans face. It was pale as a ghost, highlighted by thin green eyes and a small, shapeless nose. He was missing all of his hair, which made him resemble a ghost even more. When he spoke, his thin lips seemed to move without struggle. Almost as if he had no lips.

"You are a good person, Mr. Warren. You do your job well, and do it right." Zeek withdrew a pistol from his holster. It was silenced. The perfect oppurtunity to kill Ares. "As I'm sure you know, the election for security chief is coming up soon. Apparently, Marcus Moore has decided to run against me. He has gained the support of a large portion of the vault. That has....dismayed me."

Zeek then held out the pistol to Ares. It was a gift. "To gain my upmost trust, I ask of you to take care of Mr. Moore." Zeek winked and smiled. "When I become chief,
I will be sure to.... fill you in on things." And with that, Zeek left. Ares realized he was holding the silenced pistol.

Ares had liked Moore. He appealed to what the citizens wanted, and not what the overseer demanded. None the less he was still a pawn under the overseer, and if Zeek really would "fill him in" then the plan he had devised would not be needed.

Clutching the pistol, Ares left the room. His destination was Moore's room.

Overseer-
Satisfied with how well out test subject did, I opened up my drawer. It was a flask that was confiscated from one of the army soldiers; brining my nose to it I got a strong whiff of Vodka.
"I'll think Ill pass on this. I mumbled, I set up my security camera censurers. "Can’t be up all night watching these things." I groaned. And went of to my room.

OCC/ they can still be bypassed like normally.

Matt Shepard
As the other two men carried Vectov away, Matthew walked over to nearby camera, looking at it , it hadn’t be damaged but Matt wasn’t trying to fix the camera…

Taking a screwdriver out of his tool box, Matt looked around to see no one was nearly and unscrewed the side of camera and began fiddling with the wires

Hmm lets see I can break it, make a Jammer and attract it or disable the censurers. If I disable the censurers the overseer will make me repair it , giving me to look at again, without the added damager…

Disable the censures on this camera, by cutting the Blue wire. Matt quickly screwed the side plate back on and walked off, to his room, hoping no-body saw him...


OOC: I don’t mind if anyone spotted Mat, just don’t grass him to Overseer…. Yet.

Ares Warren

The oppurtunity was perfect. Moore was walking ahead of Ares, most likely headed towards the reactor. He was taking one of the smaller and less used maintenance hallways. It was the perfect oppurtunity to shoot the man in the back of the head, hide his body, and tell Zeek that Moore had been taken care of. But as Ares clutched the silenced pistol, he just couldn't bring himself to take the mans life. As they neared the door on the far end of the hallway, Ares made his decision. A desperate decision.

"Marcus Moore." When Marcus heard his name, he hastily turned around. The man then spotted Ares walking in the shadows, and gave a curt yet nervous nod.

"Ares, am I right? I heard your new to the gaurds." he said, his voice projecting loudly throughout the hall.

"Yes, my name is Ares. I need to talk to you." responded Ares. Moore immediately looked concerned, as if he knew what was wrong.

"Well, I have time."

As Ares approached, he thought about everything that had happened in this vault. Would Moore understand? Taking a deep breath in, Ares started with his story, only ommiting parts that could land him in trouble. Moore listened the whole time. When Ares finished, Moore patted him on the back.

"Yes... I have come to realize Zeek is not a fan of me. Well, he's not really a fan of anybody." The man laughed, and then continued. "I'm sure you think I know whats going on at this vault, and to be honest I have no idea. I was originally briefed on a different vault, about 200 miles away. Instead, I was brought to this crazy place at the last minute. I tried to blend in with the other gaurds....but they are so unusual."

Ares now noticed he was Moore was holding what appeared to be a remote. A remote to the cameras. He was scrambling their signal, masking the two men's conversation from the overseer. A smart man, he was.

"For now, you and I must lay low. I will keep an eye out for Zeek and his goons. But you must promise me, do not befriend them. They are filled with lies. Do you understand me?"

"Yes." responded Ares.

"Good, we will meet again." And with that Moore turned around and made his way towards the door. The man walked with confidence, although his voice showed signs of nervousness. A trully precarious situation. As Ares turned to leave, he heard four words come from the man. Now confident words.

"You are not alone."

OCC/ The doctor will turn on the Overseer when he finds out what happens to his kids in another vault, it is not a good thing.
Smits Vectov

Clinic

Blinding light lit the room; a blurred figure was beside me. Searching for words I let out groan followed by slurs. “Your coming around finally you took quit a blow to the head, now I’m going to let out a series of commands nod if you understand them”. Said a man.

“Command serial, purge protocol 409. The man said. Jump I nodded. After a series of questions he was finished. Your wondering who I am, he said as he approached dimming the lights. My vision cleared I was lying down on something around the room was x-ray pictures, sink, medical containers It was the average looking clinic for a vault. In the corner was the doctor aging and stressed sitting in a chair.

I wanted to ask him what happened to me but I couldn’t help but ask. “Do I know you I mumbled”? The doctor looked at me like that question was the last he would expect. “You could say that yes”. He said. “What do you mean”? I asked. The Doctor looked at me taking a rag out of his pocket and wiping sweat of he forehead.

“I have family you know, two daughters and a son who is 6 years old. I love them so much I will do anything for them; it’s the reason why I’m in this vault. Our great leader made me the Vault doctor in exchange for them to get into a vault one of the safest there is. Preached the doctor, he took out a photo of his kids walking up and showed me. This is Amanda my little genius and this is Jacob always wanting to explore, the trouble he will get in that vault he’s at. The doctor smiled. And she is Tia, she has so much of her mother in her. The doctor looked out of breath and sat down.

I stared at him. “Will you be Okay”? I asked. “Oh me yes fine, fine I have a lot on my mind my point his you have to do stuff terrible for loved ones sometimes. Now relax we cant have you destroying that vault again while injured can we?” He chuckled and went to work on his terminal.

"Not now, I'm thinking." Nariko said, waving the onlooker away.

"But... I was just wanting to know what you're looking for. He was my brother." The woman standing behind him said.

Nariko was used to ignoring things that upset him.
Inside he was crying. For the world, for his family, for himself. He got along by stifling the emotions.
But he was looking at someone who couldn't just deal with it. The world she lived in was gone, now so was her brother.
"...What has been moved, what was here before, and what is gone now." He replied.

"I live here and I can say that nothing is-"

"How about this?" Nariko asked, cutting her off.
He stood up from where he was kneeling over the dead man and walked over to the coffee table.

The table looked as though it had been recently cleaned compared to everything else around the room.
He knelt down between the coffee table and the couch. He took off his glove and ran his fingers through the shag carpet.

"Cool... almost..."

"Moist." He said, not taking his eyes off the floor.

"Seven." Said the woman.

He looked up and asked, "What?"

She closed the cabinets she had been looking through.
"We had eight cups. Now we have seven." She looked at him on the floor and asked, "What does it mean?"

He stood up and explained, "No blood, no wounds other than scratches around his throat, a little skin under the nails, cleaned carpet, cleaned table, impression on the couch, missing cup... it seems this guy was given a large dose of Charlie Sheen."

The woman looked at him blankly for a moment and asked, "Who?"

"...He was poisoned."

"Ohhhhh."

Smits Vectov

"Your free too leave and take this. The doctor handed me a flask. Just try and remember, he’s watching me all the time ". The docter whispered.

I pressed a switch and wondered into the halls. "Remember what? I don’t understand any of this". I turned at a sudden banging, a little girl was hitting the glass laughing I smiled and waved. She then wondered off.

A scream let loose, a yell in terror. Turning in horror I saw a man grinning at me holding up a flask where the girl was just standing. My vision flickered to a nametag.

Private Victor

"Who are you"! I yelled, something told me I already new. The man put down his flask he glared at me, he eyes fumed red as he back away. He let out a scream and charged the glass, I Flinched. Opening my eyes he was gone and the kid was hiding behind a couch. Bang The glass pvssyred in front of me the man in rage climbed through covered in blood. "Your mine"! He shouted.

Running In terror I never looked back my footsteps echoed the halls something hard rammed into me. I begged it was not the man it was a security guard. "Sir help me I’m being chased"! I screamed. The guard looked at me then got angry, I ran off before the deranged man got me. The technician’s room . I Thought and veered off to down a hall, I turned around and saw the man running at me he face covered in blood. Click the door opened I ran inside and locked it he was banging the door. "Leave me alone you son of a [censored]"! I screamed. He stopped; I sat in a chair my strength drained Matt Shepard was waking up.

OOC/ The man never was really there Smits was just loosing his mind.

"Ares isn't with us." Micheal told Nariko.

"What? Is he going to tell anyone?"

"He said no, and I trust him. But this means you may have to go to the lab your self... I was hesitant about this because I know the Overseer knows your name."

"NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM!" The Overseer's recorded voice rang from the Pip Boy.
The door to the lab slid open.
Green light spilled out on to the floor and Nariko.
He took a deep breath and stepped inside.

"I hope you came through, Matt."

He gasped in shock when his eyes fell on the inside of the room.
Blood covered the floor around a table in the center of the room. Along with that, several rooms which were blocked off by plexi glass, and a few tables with computers on them.
Inside one of the rooms was something that made Nariko's stomach churn. A pile of bodies that nearly filled one of the rooms.
He flashed back to seeing his mother, shot in the stomach, lying limp over his father's body.
Nariko forced the memories from his mind, as usual, and hurried to one of the computers.

He moved the mouse and heard a buzz from the computer as it started up.
The light flashed on, "Password:"

The first thing Nariko thought of was something the doctor had said during his training.
"I know what its like to be worried about the ones you love. My children are in another vault. Their names are Amanda, Tia, and Jacob..."

At first he tried several things that had to do with the names. None worked.
"...my wife is not with them anymore. Thats one reason I was so hesitant about coming here and leaving them in foster care. Her name was Greta...."

Electropathway Implant-- Proposed (revised) Effect-- The brain is linked together by "bridges". Electropathway is a spin off from the OMITTED science. The general idea of OMITTED Is that if a bridge receives a power surge, it will inflame and become a working bridge to new areas of the mind which were once thought unachievable. It is the act of creating a man made bridge and was first put in to use on mental patients in the year 2011. The results were OMITTED. After this OMITTED to have subjects fit with an implant on the Medulla Oblongata OMITTED This would open up a whole new level of opportunity. OMITTED similar to mental conditioning OMITTED. There were debates that the actions taken were not "direct" enough OMITTED In 2070, an organization was finally allowed to be formed. OMITTED Once the vaults were installed, one was made especially for the continuing of the Electropathway. Though this was not given as high a priority as the three OMITTED vaults.--Gathered Affect:

Nariko read, furiously. He clicked on the "Gathered Affect" link, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
He found the most recent log by the Doctor and read:
The one surviving subject is working perfectly after the test to almost flood the vaults, in order to see if he would react against his own better judgment.
Nothing new to report, other than that the damn Overseer is going to make animal testing official.

Nariko put his hand over his mouth in shock and clicked the next link titled Future Human Test Subjects, only to have the screen say "Access denied. Information on separate server. Title: Overseer".

Nariko ejected the holodisk from the drive, where it had been downloading and ran from the room.
"Theres no time, I have to get to the Overseer's terminal. He should be sleeping at this time of night." Nariko thought as he sped through the halls.

OOC: If you didn't catch that, I just explained how it was possible for all of this to actually work using something that is real and being used now (it isn't mind control related). Hooray future.
