Noah's Vault

The story starts around the time where the Great War begins (October 23, 2077) and the Air Raid Sirens go off. Around that time most Vaults would be ready and able to let the people that (were paranoid enough to have) reserved a spot in one such underground bunkers. But due to the many drills before, with this case of the Air Raid Sirens being used seeming like no exception, many people who reserved a spot didn't even show up for that reason, they all thought It was another Drill that was to ruin there Friday Night.

The story takes place as you (The Rp player) (With a family or alone) escape to the Vault being the paranoid person that you where or just being worried about your Family. After a a period of time everyone that made It to the Vault is standing at the enterance, jet fighters are heard flying above attempting to stop enemy rockets (Bombers). The door starts to shut Family's are running toward the door but It shuts on them (They scream in terror wanting to be let in) The people in the Vault are now locked out. Everyone was directed to there room with haste doors slamming down fill the Halls. The Bombs fall

What people thought was a normal vault really was a copy of Noah's ark, a ship that saved animals from death. On certain floors pairs of each animal in North America where locked up, this vault was not made to save people but too safe animals from going extinct. There is an overseer docter everything in a normal vault plus animlas care jobs. (You start off as an average person scared and wanting to survive who gets a job lives cares for there family)

But like EVERY VAULT there are some secrets TWISTS turns, that can turn a vault that saves people into a crisis where trouble is everywhere. This is not a huge vault made for a large number a people about 250 people for the Vault but only 165 really made It there alive.

I have countless Ideas that will keep every player involved and (The vault will not end up killing your RP player unless you want to die) REMEMBER: You have the freedom of choice if I was too make a Rp like this.

PLEASE: Let me know what know what you think of this Idea (would you like to see this RP? This is just an Idea not a sign up so feel free to give me your Ideas for this Rp. (Would YOU join an Rp like this) Late joiners could allways join this Rp if it were to happen also what location would you want this Vault to take place In (I was thinking CANADA) Since It has been left out and Im Canadian. Like the Idea?

If this Idea get alot of support the person with the best Bio-Backround will get chosen to be Co-Overseer (If you want to)

Sounds good and liek Vault 110 which unfortunately died, I would be intersted in joining proabbly.

I'd join probably seeing several of other Rp's die out. Maybe a tad more of what we will actually do in the rp.

I can see this becoming too chaotic to control, and the whole idea of managing animals will get mundane after a while If maybe the plot was some cataclysmic event that caused the ship to go afloat, or the animals were released, or maybe that they began to mutate and kill the other animals, then thats kinda like a streamlined set piece situation, albeit pretty hectic if it were to unfold in that way. This is one I'd sit out until it becomes more of a solid RP alternative than simply an idea.

That wont be happen I have been putting alot of thought into this Rp, I dont want none of that to happen and none of It will I hope, the Ideas I have are pretty good that wont mess the Rp up at all Right now I am working on The Rp sign up if people like this enuff, I might of made this seem a bit more complicated then I meant It to be.

We have far too many rps out right now. And they all seem to die instantly.

I know but Im working on some good Ideas to keep players interested in the Rp, plus I will wait maybe a day or two and see If It is ready to be posted, Half of the Rp is typed out but im waiting for more feed back If the Idea Is good or not.

Quite...a...unique RP, certainly compared to the rest of them around here. I might be down for it, even though I hate most animals, it depends on what you decide to do to keep interesting...You know what, if you actually do make this, I'll sign up, just for the fact of saying I was part of this creative adventure.

But it's all about the twists, it will be amusing for a little bit, the G.O.A.T will be fun for a couple posts, but what's to stop this from becoming Harvest Moon? You might be able to pull it off, but as it is, if you were just to make it with what you have, it wouldn't work. If you had a few flesh out ideas on how to keep interest than we might see a quite amusing RP.

And Galen, I don't know if waiting a week will do much, most of the deaths have been from lack of player commitment. No amount of time will influence that.

If you can make it work, like Yttrium said, and keep it interesting all the way through, then go for it. I'd certainly join.

I think Galen meant that he should think it over for a week, get all his ideas together, find out if he really wants to make the RP, etc.

I doubt bombers where the main bomb droppers in the great war. More likely ballistic and nuclear missles, but anyways...

The bombers are talked alot about throughout Fallout though. Have you played Dead Money yet?
And because animals are awesome and you don't see them in rps.

Thats the reason why I put them In it, also just becouse theres animals does not mean that the Rp will completely be about them.

Then whats the point in the animals being there then? I'm not trying to start an arguement, just wondering. Seems like a rather odd idea to have an rp about "noahs rk" and animals when it would not focus on animals. and even so, what about them?

Noah's ark was a huge boat (Ship) Made by a man who took a pair of every animal a male and female. He got them on his boat before a huge Flood, since It rained and Rained and so on. By doing this he saved the animals from extinction and life could go on as It was made too be.
(The short version)

This Vault is like that, It is made to save the animals so life on planet earth can go back to normal, instead of mutant freak show animals. It can preserve them the way they are made too be. And by MAKING A VAULT with animals I can put in dark secrets, twists and turns. ALSO HAVE YOU heard of a vault yet that does this?
