Is there free roaming and side quests? Is this Rockstars most linear game?
Let's clear some things up. This is not Rockstar's game. This is Team Bondi's. There's a big difference between publisher and developer friend.
They have stated on many occasions that this is not a sandbox playground game. The world is simply there for you to explore looking for cases, patrolling the streets, going to a suspect's place, etc. It's not meant to be your playground. It's meant to be your world. While you can explore this world, but you can't steal cars, kill people, etc. Team Bondi has said before they wanted to get a good mix of open world and mystery solving. L.A. Noire is an extremely different game, and it seems to be that you can't understand it unless you've played it. So in other words, it's extremely unique. So my diagnosis? Buy it
