*Checks*

Damn it. Thanks again Rockstar.

It used to be PS3 exclusive though, at least they're letting 360 players have it too. :)

@Frosty: I don't know what you're talking about, Red Dead Redemption was a fun game. Much better than GTA IV imo.

Does John Marstone get a tommy gun so he can shoot those mugs in the trailer? Take that, Johnny Law! :gun: :gun: :gun:

Very much looking forward to this game. I love gams that still know that even today you can have both story and gameplay in one tight package without lacking in either. Anyone find it a bit funny that this was originally supposed to be a ps3 exclusive, sort of were sorry for making GTA4 multiplatform and now this game went multiplatform as well.

Day 1 buy for me.

PS: Bethesda better deliver hard on Skyrim or this might be this year's RDR, a GOTY that nobody expected.

I was expecting it in October 2009 :P (maybe it's just my love for the wild west)

On the subject of L.A. Noire, it's like this game was hand made just for me (cries)

But seriously, I can't express the awesomness that was featured in that trailer. Guys in suits and fedoras, jazz, guns, 1940's, film noir, crime, detectives, etc. It's everything I love! :hugs:

Definitely something Im looking forward too. Besides Bethesda; Rockstar is my favorite developer. :)

Rockstar is not developing it. Or at least that I what I heard. I believe they are just publishing it, still I am quite sure they had a big impact on development.

It's made by Team Bondi, R* is publishing. I'm going to have to explain this to everyone just like with the whole "Obsidian making NV not Bethesda" thing

Spoiler
you know what would be a really slick easter egg? I sincerely doubt they will do this

BUT

John Marston's Son (assuming he doesn't get killed by Marshals, drafted and killed in WWI or gunned down by any mobsters in the 1920s) would in theory survive to the year 1947

would be neat if at some point in LA Noire you ran into Jack Marston (At that point a middle aged man) imagine the conversation!

Cole: I'd like to ask a few questions

Jack: I don't rightly care about you boy, it was prissy, suited folk like yourself that shot and murdered my father in cold blood. hell, I was here before you were even born! back when this place was just a big ol' desert.

would be a pretty clever nod at RDR

I for one am really excited for this game, I LOVE 1920s-1950s stories. Particularly where this is set. There only one game that comes to mind that was set in the later half of the 1940s (after WWII) and that was a five minute segment, this is a five year period that no one seems to think has any potential but it does and I'm really glad to see something being set in this time finally.

I'm really sorry for that, didn't realize it until it was too late :(

This. Definitely this. My only complaint is that it hasn't yet been announced for the PC. :P

I agree that would be cool, but not everyone has played RDR. Spoiler tags please

and the only way he could have gotten shot by a gangster was if he was a cop and was involved with getting rid of the mobsters. Or if he was one himself and the others weren't happy with him. Gangsters goals weren't to kill innocents willy nilly, it would be more likely for him to die of starvation in the 30's or.....get eaten by a shark.

Just becuse people have not played RDR doesn't mena they can't do it.

Also being an innocent didn't make you immune to bullets, plenty of people got cought in the crossfire annd not all gangsters where that honorable.

Edit:Everyone should keep in mind that this is not completely a Rockstar game, Team Bondai are the main developing team on this.

I was going to talk about the first part, but the second is more to the point.
RDR is a console exclusive.
Not all people own consoles.
Some people who dont own one want RDR.

I dont own a ps3, but I dont want a game like heavy rain spoiled just because I have been unable to play it.

A year is fine for multiplat games, but exclusives not everyone who wants it can play it.
So yes people cant play it, just like I can play heavy rain.

Just read that it's going to take up 3 discs on Xbox 360. That's gotta be annoying: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-05-05-l-a-noire-takes-up-3-xbox-360-discs
